<![CDATA[My puppies name is Beaner. I Love him so much and he is such a great dog. He is potty trained he has all his shots and hes crate trained. He knows sit, shake, down, and hes in the process of stay. Hes still small but he is very protective of me and his property. He is a great dog and hes been raised around kids cats and kittens. He has long hair and gets hott very easily so i dont want whoever takes him to just throw him in the yard. I have never tied him up outside iv only taken him for walks and let him run around when im out there. I really do love this dog and i have invested so much time and money into him but it's getting to hard for me to do this.Im 18 years old and I have a job and i own my own buisness and im going to start school soon. My boyfriend does not have the patience for a puppy he is more of a cat person. I want my puppy to be able to run around a big yard and maybe even have another dog to play with (since hes also grown up with my grandmas dog and gets so excited to see him when we let them run around together). He really is a great puppy and it breaks my heart, its even hard just to write this but i have to let him go but it's for the best. Im going to give whoever takes him his cage and his favorite toy. He shares food with the dog my grandma has so i cant offer you a bag of food to go with him. All im asking is a 50$ rehomeing fee to make sure he goes to a good home. <![CDATA[A stray pekingese showed up at my apartment about 2 months ago. She was completely matted and covered in fleas. She came right in as I opened the door, happy to be out of the heat. I have since taken her to the vet twice for her rabies vaccine, parvo-distemper,de-wormer, treatment for a bacterial infection, and a depo shot for her itchy skin. Health-wise she has made a remarkable recovery, but she does have some food aggression and temperamental issues. I would prefer her be an only dog because of this. She has gotten much better, but I think she was abused in her past and just needs to earn the trust of someone with a lot of patience. The vet says she is an older dog but in good health. <![CDATA[I found a kitten outside for 3 days in a row now with all this crazy rain. I checked to see if I could figure out it's sex and it LOOKS like it's a girl but since I have no clue how old she is based on the fact that she could be way smaller than she should be from malnutrition there's still a chance that balls could drop in. I am almost positive it's a girl though. She was incredibly thin, had no social skills, plus and a flea collar that was so tight it was almost chocking her. She has bug bites on her ears as well as on her body in some spots. Most of them will heal up now that she's bathed along with time but she may end up with some tiny hairless bumps on her ears. She's already been flea treated for this month. I'm going to nurse her back to health and work on her social skills and in a few weeks she should be ready for a nice new home. Very sweet and loving. Very adventurous. As SOON as I put her in the bathroom she instantly ran out and tried to check out my dog and cats. lol. She does very well with my 4 yr old daughter. Depending on how quickly she picks up on everything she should be ready for a new home in 2-3 weeks. So let me know if you're interested and I'll take some pics once I get her beefed up a little. lol. She'll DEF make someone a good pet or another pet good company from what I can tell. I will not be taking her to a vet but if you'd like to get her and want to have all those things done before hand then you're welcome to drop by whatever it'll cost and I'll make sure every thing's taken care of before you pick her up. There's a place called Quik Shots up in Canton that's uber cheap and that's where I'll take her as well as a low cost spay/neuter company (Note* This will increase the time she'll be with me as I won't move her until she completely healed). If you live in an apt/town house or close to a busy road then you are more then welcome to have her with the understanding that she is to be an indoor ONLY cat. ONLY, and I mean OONNNLLLYYY if you live in a house either in the back of a neighborhood or that is FAARRRR from a busy road can she be INDOOR/OUTDOOR which means once she's old enough she can be out during the day but please bring her in at night! Since I don't know you on a personal level I'll have to do an in home visit in which you'll need to have any vet records and current vet info for ANY animals on-site or info to a vet used for previous pets. I'll need a check stub from your current job (if no check stub is available then I'll need a note signed, along with a time to met your current employer). If you think you can provide her with a good , loving house then let me know. You'll need to sign a form stating that she will receive all her shots on time, be fixed before her first heat, and have flea treatment as well as heart worm protection all year round. Should you move you will need to notify me as I will on occasion stop by to check on her, especially in the first year. I'd love for her to have a home for the rest of her life but if, at some point, you can't care for her then please bring her back and I'll find another suitable home for her. Sorry to throw rules on it. I just want to make sure she's loved and comfy no matter where she goes :) If you're an animal lover then I'm sure you understand! <![CDATA[We recently took in a stray 2-3 year old Pit Bull. He's white with brown spots and is a little on the thin side. He has a few patches of missing fur, including an area near his rear end that looks infected. Although we didn't plan on keeping him because we already have 2 dogs, we took him to the vet yesterday evening to help with his fur problem. The vet said that the issue is related to an allergy to fleas. He is now on frontline and heartguard (he tested negative for heart worm), up-to-date on vaccinations, and taking two types of medicine to help him heal. His coat should be in a great shape in a few weeks. He's adorable, lovable, gets along with our other dogs, sits on command, and is mostly well-behaved. On the negative side, he's not potty trained or neutered, he whines often, and he's (playfully) nipped at me. He has not bitten anyone, but he sometimes plays a bit rough. This is NOT a guard dog. The previous owner already tried unsuccessfully to use him as a guard dog. He wants to be around people! The new owner should have plenty of time and love to give to him. He clearly was poorly taken care of, and he deserves a fresh start. In terms of price, all I'm asking is to reimbursed for the vet bills and his medication (I will show you the receipt). He comes with all of his medication and his rabies tag. If I even suspect that someone is interested in selling him or using him to fight, he WILL NOT be going anywhere. I have - I watched along with my 4 year old and 7 people in my neighbor's yard as my hound dog got killed. A friend staying with us at the time who apparently didn't know any better, let her out of the house without her leash. The jeep knocked her about 30 feet and didn't even slow down. That's been 5 years and I still look at every jeep with suspicion and believe me I called them a lot worse than the original poster called the person who hit their dog. In my case there was absolutely nothing they could have done to prevent the accident or to help her after she was hit. But they could've at least stopped to say they were sorry.]]>

<![CDATA[recently i adopted a chihuahua mix puppy about 9months old. He was doing great, but i recently was promoted to a full time job and i have to leave him home alone during the day. I live in an apartment and when i leave all he does is cry. Ive already had 2 complaints by my neighbors now the apartment complex is forcing me to get rid of him. Hes great with kids. I have a 2yr old son who plays none stop with him. The puppy is very very energetic. and loveable. He loves to sleep in bed at night and cuddle under the covers. He plays fetch with a ball, and chews on the little rawhide bones. HE gives tons and tons of kisses. I def. would recomment him to go into a family with children. He is a little skiddish around men, or when you first let him out of a crate he will tinkle. He is puppy pad trianed we were working on going outside but it wasnt working yet ( he might need a backyard to roam in ) He does walk on a leash. Has been around other male dogs and get alone great, he does growl at females and barks at cats, but im sure hell get use to it since hes still a puppy.
