Independent Store Operator Role

Responsibilities
<br>
As an independent Store Operator, you will be responsible for the following:

 All operations of your specified retail location, including store set-up, merchandising, HR-related activities, ongoing management, and other related tasks
<br>
 Maintaining brand consistency in your store as described by Balsam Hill
<br>
 Hiring, training, compensating, and managing employees for your assigned store in accordance with local laws and Balsam Hill® policies
<br>
 Initiating/maintaining a payroll system and tax payment for employees
<br>
 Providing exemplary customer service, which may include helping customers, training Sales Associates, merchandising, and other tasks as necessary
<br>
 Store build-out and compliance with merchandising specifications
<br>
 On-going maintenance of the retail store as specified by the Retail Operations Director
<br>
 Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of sales data to Balsam Hill headquarters
<br>
 Updating and communicating weekly summary reports to executive management
<br>
 Straightening and re-stocking product to ensure the store meets visual standards

 Updating promotional signage and marketing materials as needed

 Ensuring all required store functions are performed as directed, which may include greeting all customers, distributing promotional collateral, wearing appropriate attire, etc.

 Oversee the tear down/pack up process post-season

 Effective communication with mall management to inquire about location-specific issues that may arise (such as signage, center marketing activities, security, etc.)

Required Skills

 Experience managing retail store operations with a proven retail sales record

Compensation
