Possible emergency situations and crisis intervention. Meal preparation using kitchen appliances such as mixer, blender, stove, oven, etc. Home maintenance involves use of washer/dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, vacuum, other household appliances/tools. Lawn maintenance (use of mower/weed eater). Some heavy lifting. Will drive 15-passenger van as well as Agency sedan. <br> <br> Schedule is 15 days on followed by 6 days off. There may be periods when main house parents are unavailable and relief houseparent will need to work extended shifts. Must have alternate living arrangements for time off. Must be willing to work as live-in staff for 15 days on with 6 days off. <br> <br> Education and Experience: A Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field from an accredited college or university is preferred, a minimum of high school diploma is required. Required to be a minimum of 21 Years of age. Prefer some prior experience working with children and youth in care. <br> <br> Licenses and Certifications: If not previously attained, Agency will provide training in these areas: CPR/1st Aid, Medications training, tuberculosis screening, Crisis Intervention training (CPI), and Van driving. Additional 20 hours per year of job-related training will be provided throughout employment. <br> <br> <br> Must be well organized and self motivated; Must be able to prioritize and be accountable for timelines and to complete tasks in a timely manner; Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
