<![CDATA[Equalize RCM Account Manager Description
<br>
<br>
The Equalize RCM Account Manager is the quarterback responsible for ensuring provider’s account is worked efficiently and effectively, goals are met, vendors are managed appropriately, work quality is achieved, and issues and results are communicated. The Account Manager must be independent, diligent and possess good written and oral communication skills.
<br>
<br>
Some of the Account Manager’s key roles and responsibilities:
<br>
<br>
1. Primary Contact for Practices and Vendors: Communicate directly with providers and/or their office managers. Resolve issues such as missing EOB payments, write off approvals, and refunds. Facilitate solving any issues between vendors and the provider. Send weekly and monthly reports, and keep the provider up to date on the status of their account.
<br>
a. Note: Routine exceptions for missing claims information will be submitted by designated operators, who are to cc: Account Manager.
<br>
b. Exceptions resolution: Work to ensure all exceptions answered in timely manner, work to reduce volume of exceptions, ensure account noted where provider does not answer exception in timely manner.
<br>
<br>
2. Daily status monitoring: Check the dashboard daily and otherwise verify that the workflow is being followed and all work is being completed on time and to full resolution.
<br>
<br>
3. Quality Control: Be responsible for the quality of all work done on the account and working to improve, through coaching, the future quality of work.
<br>
a. Use software tools and various reports to monitor overall performance.
<br>
b. Perform and ensure vendors perform specific QC checks
<br>
<br>
4. Reporting and communications: Prepare and/or analyze reports periodically to ensure progress on provider’s account
<br>
<br>
5. Patient Calls – Handle any inbound patient calls. Inform providers of escalated or problem patient calls.
<br>
<br>
6. Integrity of outbound mailing (if any) – Ensure paper claims, notices, and statements are sent appropriately. Keep log of files received and files mailed.
<br>
<br>
7. Collections handoff – Ensure patient follow-up process fully conducted including reminder calls to patient (if applicable to account) and ensure consistent notice to provider for collections activity.
<br>
<br>
8. Month end closure – Close the month prior to or no later than the 10th.
<br>
<br>
9. Catch-all – At end of the day, the Account Manager jumps in where needed to solve problems and perform work (e.g., call on a claim, post an ERA, research an issue) to meet our goals of collecting the maximum compliant amount and pleasing customers while operating a profitable business.

Realize that Express Training’s philosophy is there is no such thing as a throwaway student. There will be some students who won’t pass, but the expectation is that all can pass and it is the instructor’s job to try and reach every student.

Ability to closely follow course curriculum without deviation
<br>
The CNA state exam consists of 2 parts. There is a written part with 60 multiple choice questions. There is also a practical portion where the state nurse will give the test-taker 5 skills to perform. Your job will be to cover that theory part of the exam and to teach the 38 possible skills upon which the student may be tested.

Sounds difficult, doesn’t it? Sometimes the students think so too. However, we’ve done this for over 6,500 students with over an 80% pass rate, and we’re confident in our class and curriculum.

To teach you must:

* Be a licensed nurse in the state of Texas
<br>
* Have a minimum of one year of nursing experience in a facility
<br>
*Have completed a course in teaching adults or have experience in teaching adults or supervising nurse aides
