The Sales Manager will be responsible for recruitment and management as well as soliciting a variety of loan programs. Must have extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry and its investors in order to be effective in helping to structure loans in the field for delivery to the Company. In addition, the Sales Manager will also be responsible to secure loans from brokers based on four (4) key criteria: 1) Quality, 2) Delivery Channel, 3) Training, and 4) Pipeline Management. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Reports to Executive Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Integration of current source of business
<br>
• Develop and secure retail channels of business through recruitment of loan originations and own source of business.
<br>
• Develop and secure new broker business for the purpose of expanding the wholesale division through the recruitment of Account Executives in the metropolitan area.
<br>
• Become proficient in the company’s products and pricing modules.
<br>
• Conduct presentations to Brokers to showcase the Company’s tools, benefits, products, etc
<br>
• Visit and service established Corporate Wholesale brokers on a routine basis.
<br>
• Review broker applications to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to submission for management’s approval
<br>
• Maintain and keep Broker’s master files current: i.e. Assist with site inspections, reference checks, current financials and licenses if need be.
<br>
• Be primary contact for brokers to discuss packaging of loan submissions
<br>
• Assist brokers in structuring loans, scenario calls, locks and pricing issues
<br>
• Assist operation staff with individual files to ensure timely closure of loans within lock and documentation expiration periods.
<br>
• Manage production pipeline
<br>
• Recruit and manage teams of account executives, retail loan officers
<br>
• Advise corporate office of any concerns regarding the performance of the Company’s turn times, approval process, etc. within the broker community
<br>
• Advise management of competitor’s product, pricing and /or service offerings that impact his/her ability to compete in the market.
<br>
• Market and promote the Company in the above mentioned states, such as through participation in organizations and presentations at mortgage industry trade shows and events.

TRAINING:

• Train wholesale accounts on the Company’s proprietary computer programs and software platforms.

• Train Brokers, Loan Officers and/or processors on the Company standards and philosophy to increase the closure rate of transactions submitted to the Company.

1.0 GENERAL PURPOSE
<br>
<br>
To perform generation meter settlements, administrative, accounting, financial, and personnel functions as directed by and in support of the Administrative Supervisor.
<br>
<br>
2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
<br>
<br>
Assists the Administrative Supervisor in providing Personnel Administration as required by corporate policy.
<br>
<br>
Certified Scheduling Coordinator (SC) with California Independent System Operator (CAISO)
<br>
<br>
Responsible for all CAISO settlement statements. Download and validate daily data from CAISO Scheduling Infrastructure and Business Rules (SIBR) and CAISO Market Results Interface (CMRI) systems. This includes verifying hourly SC to SC trade schedules, meter reads, recorded phone logs, and daily log book entries. Communicate with CAISO meter data personnel to ensure valid meter data.

Download and validate bi-monthly invoices from CAISO Settlements and Market Clearing (SaMC). Ensure timely and accurate wire payment of all CAISO invoices. Estimate future payables and receivables to/from the CAISO to alert management of security requirements.
<br>
<br>
Estimate and reconcile the allocation of CAISO charges and payments with each contracted entity, and MSCC on a 10-minute basis. Ensure that all CAISO charge types are allocated appropriately based on contract.
<br>
<br>
Communicate with contracted entity representatives to confirm methodologies of CAISO charges and ensure timely payments.
<br>
<br>
Participate in working groups/meetings with CAISO on upcoming market changes and current issues.
<br>
<br>
Administers quarterly random drug screenings per DOT substance policy. Set up new hire drug screenings, and maintain confidential DOT files.
<br>
<br>
Maintains and updates files and spreadsheets related to plant daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly operational, production, and financial data.
<br>
<br>
Generates monthly accrual data relating to accounting of power contracts and steam generation, gas usage, station light & power, water and related inventories.
<br>
<br>
Compiles the Monthly Operating Report (MOR) and graphs to summarize revenues and administrative and operational expenses for management. Maintains and updates the MOR database.
<br>
<br>
Monitors and maintains knowledge of power sales contracts, in order to balance power sales of overall plant to each contract.
<br>
<br>
Responsible for A/R and invoicing contracts monthly. Ensure accurate and timely payments are received from contracts.
<br>
<br>
Forecast revenues and expenses for net income estimates on a monthly basis, and maintain cash flow worksheet for management decisions. Reconcile cash flow with EMG/Irvine Cash Management to ensure accuracy.
<br>
<br>
Forecast monthly fuel usage using projected outage plans and projected electricity production.
<br>
<br>
Review monthly financial statements from EMG/Irvine Accounting to ensure accuracy. Assist auditors and EMG/Irvine accounting with yearend audit of financial statements.
<br>
<br>
Monitors daily plant status reports and insures validity of data. Obtain and ensure accurate data on all electrical meters and steam volumetrics.
<br>
<br>
Completes annual thermodynamic efficiency reports for the QF contracts.
<br>
<br>
Calculate and report the Equivalent Availability Factor on a monthly basis.
<br>
<br>
Compile quarterly Air Quality Reports and Annual Operating Report for the Compliance Manager.
<br>
<br>
Responsible for compiling and submitting monthly and quarterly compliance reporting to the Department of Energy (DOE) and the California Energy Commission (CEC). These reports include but are not limited to; monthly electrical and steam generation, monthly fuel btu content, fuel usage and total fuel cost.
<br>
<br>
Assist in the development and completion of other daily, monthly, and annual operations reports as assigned.
<br>
<br>
Complete/update portions of the annual budget as directed by the Administrative Supervisor. Compile the annual hours of peak production for use in the annual budget.
<br>
<br>
Supply Administrative Supervisor with revenue/volumetric/expense/payroll data for monthly reports.
<br>
<br>
Back up fuel administrator in the absence of Administrative Supervisor.
<br>
<br>
Develops new and/or revises existing office procedures as required or directed.
<br>
<br>
Participates in cross training, assists in special projects, and performs other duties and responsibilities as directed.
<br>
<br>
Establish and maintain a good working relationship with management, partnership, and station personnel and outside contacts.
<br>
<br>
3.0 CONTACTS
<br>

Daily contact with supervisory and non-supervisory staff. Frequent contact with corporate and partnership personnel to exchange information. Regular contact with contract managers to exchange and verify information.
<br>
<br>
4.0 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
<br>
<br>
Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance issues including but not limited to NERC WECC Reliability Standards and DOT, EMOMI Standards and Guidelines, Station Administrative Orders, Procedures, and Operating Instructions, EMOMI accident prevention rules and safe work practices. Ability to work independently. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, and to assist in leading, guiding, and directing accounting and clerical work. The ability to work with PC's, strong knowledge of spreadsheet applications, and learn quickly.

Will be directly supervised by the Administrative Supervisor. Functionally may be supervised by the Plant Manager.

May assist in the direction or supervision of the administrative staff and other plant personnel as directed by the Administrative Supervisor and as potential Upgrade to Administrative Supervisor.
