The key to these systems is brazed aluminum components, so the ideal candidate will need to be well versed in both Vacuum and Dip brazing techniques for aluminum <br> <br> Day to Day Activities: <br> <br> This position will primarily focus on the actual CAD design of the products, but will also entail interaction at both the customer and the production personnel level. The customer generally supplies an Interface Control drawing, and our client designs the thermal control system appropriate for their application. The position is located on-site at our Boron Operations in the Refinery Services Mechanical department. <br><br> The Refinery Services Mechanical Department provides construction, installation, relocation, repair, and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities for the optimum operating efficiency of the Rio Tinto Minerals Boron Operations.<br><br> The <b>Instrument & Electrical Maintenance Supervisor</b> coordinates with plant area maintenance planners and department superintendent/managers daily to assess priorities and urgency of the maintenance activities/requirements for the assigned areas. I&E department planners will enter needed work activities into the CMMS System. Supervisor will assign repair work orders and supervise in the scheduling, requisitioning and administering timely completion of individual tasks. This includes developing the daily schedules for all craft levels, first class second class and helper. The position is located on-site at our Boron Operations in the <b>Mine Technical Services (MTS)</b> Department.<br><br> The <b>Mine Technical Services Manager</b> manages all mine technical issues – geotechnical, geological, mine engineering, and mine production planning. The <b>MTS Manager</b> oversees and leads capital and non-capital mine engineering projects in support of the business unit. Manage and provide engineering control of the mining risks that would jeopardize the safety and economic viability of the mine plan. Produce, document and communicate short, medium, long and strategic mine plans that optimize the extraction of the resource. Establish good communications and team work with operations personnel and the technical departments at Boron. <li>Offer Mine Technical Support to RTM Americas as needed. <li>Be actively involved in leading and developing the strategic direction of Boron’s resource development. Proactively liaise with the Marketing, Financial and Exploration teams to ensure that Business Plans are consistent with the latest mine plans can be used. <li>Be actively involved in developing MTS and Mine budgets. Instigate programs and provide technical support to achieve cost reductions in the mine though innovative technologies and systems. Establish a culture of continuous improvement with good measurement systems supporting this activity. Support other sections of the mine in their continuous improvement activities. <li>Familiarity with Ore Body Modeling, Life of Mine plan, Short Range Plans, and environmental and geotechnical constraints. Evaluation of grade/quality, cut-off grade, blending, capacity, and production strategies. Understands mining methods, equipment selection, and production sequencing optimization. Oversees the evaluation of waste dump, stockpile, and infrastructure strategy and layout. Knowledge of ore processing alternatives. <li>Understand, implement and maintain appropriate systems both computer and non-computer based to facilitate the active management of the department leading to world’s best technical service performance. </ul> <b>Qualifications: </b> <ul> <li> Drive positive Safety Culture.
