<br>
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related area
<br>
• Hands-on experience developing web applications using technologies such as PHP, J2EE, JSP, ASP.NET, Perl
<br>
• Hands-on experience with databases and Structured Query Language (SQL)
<br>
• Hands-on experience with User Interface and/or interaction design experience - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
<br>
• Experience with graphic designing – Photoshop, Corel Draw, Flash
<br>
• Experience with enterprise search engines and e-commerce systems – Magento
<br>
• Experience in SEO / PPC management.
<br>
• User Experience/Information Architecture (UE/UI, Best Practices, Site Map, Navigation, Wireframes)
<br>
• Creative concepting through to creative design of themes
<br>
• Web dev/coding for themes.
<br>
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
<br>
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
<br>

Responsibilities
<br>
• Server migration (to own server) and subsequent server configuration and administration
<br>
• Migrate Data and Design from existing e-commerce platform (asp based) to new e-commerce platform (Magento)
<br>
• Set-up Taxonomy for the web-site and configure categories in a user-friendly order.
<br>
• Adding products, images and data to database from a wide range of suppliers large and small
<br>
• Developing systems and scripts to auto-update pricing changes from suppliers
<br>
• Configuring EDIs between ERP system to various e-commerce platforms and order processing system
<br>
• Optimize landing pages, urls and other content for SEO
<br>
• Customize layouts for seasonal and merchandising uses
<br>
• Coordinate and align company goals with SEO and PPC teams
<br>
• Develop daily metrics reports for both merchandising and performance to help us optimize our customers needs
<br>
• Assisting in other office IT issues (light) including server optimization and business software implementations.
<br>

This is an on-site position at our office in Bakersfield CA. Our need is immediate and long-term.
