Originaly it was a single humbucker body , it has been custom fitted with two Burstbucker pro hand wound pickups then two tone pots , three way selector switch and volume pot were added , all wired with vintage 1960's stainless braided wire . The bridge has been changed to a hard tail (through body string mounting) . The neck is a 1964 Fender custom shop quarter sawn hard rock maple with rosewood fret board . The tone and sustain of this guitar is amazing , it sound and plays better than any guitar I have played off the custom wall at Guitar Center . The pickgaurd is a hand cut tortise shell made just for the Burstbuckers . It truly is a one of a kind piece that we dont want to part with , but times call us to do so . Its a CRATE GT-80V with two vintage celestion 10's, a choice between a tube and solid state preamp, and an 80-watt solid state power amp. Rythem and Lead channels selectable via front panel or foot switch (I do not have the foot switch) it has an ok reverb unit, distortion ranges from warm true-tube overdrive to mean metal....its a VERY nice sounding amp. Blues leads all day on the rythem channel with tube preamp...VERY warm sounding...i will miss this amp This thing may not go up to 11, but it's LOUD, did a jam session with my buddies rock band with the volume on 4, and it was drowning out the bass the bad: a few of the pots are noisy, and the input jack is a little worn, so it needs a little love, but works, i play it all the time. <![CDATA[The reason it is so cheap, is because of course two years of use...but mind you, the guitar is still in great condition! There are minor scratches throughout body but nothing disgusting. There is a small spot by strap holder on bottom that is missing paint but its on the bottom so who is gonna see it? One of the tuning heads broke so i bought six BRAND NEW ESP tuning heads made especially for my guitar. Tremolo bar is missing but that is easy to replace.(any store that sells electric guitars should have them for a cheap price). It will come with a set of Zakk Wylde Signature Strings. Original knobs are on the guitar. There are no wiring issues whatsoever, maybe a small scratching but every guitar with age just needs a little re-soldering on the wire joints inside(EASY JOB). Plays beautifully, neck is very smooth and clean. Pickups are great for pinch harmonics. You may ask "why you getting rid of it if you love it so much?"
