<![CDATA[Looking to sell my early model Fender Bandmaster Reverb 5005D all-tube amplifier. This version was made in the late 60's and early 70s and predates the 1970s versions with a master volume and pull knobs. Original speaker cabinet included. Specs: Made between 1968 and 1971 (early "silverface") All tube- 6 pres and 3 power tubes Power tubes: 1 gz32 and 2 6L6GC running in a class A (inline) configuration @ approx. 40 watts Large built in spring reverb tank. 2 channels- Clean and vibrato/reverb. Each channel has a high impedence and low impedence input. Cabinet: original Fender cab with 2 12 inch speakers running at 4 ohms impedence. Foot switch included to turn on/off reverb and vibrato Fresh Ruby tubes throughout with less than 20 hours of playtime on them This amp is insanely loud (I can't get it past 3 without hurting my ears), with a number of possible destortion tones through the low impedance inputs. The reverb on this amp sounds great and eliminates the need for an expensive additional unit. Please note that this amp is not in perfect or restored condition. It's 40 years old and has spent alot of time on stage and the back of trucks, and shows significant wear (note the hole in the speaker cabinet screen). These are only cosmetic flaws and it is in perfect working order, a testament to the quality of craftsmanship that went into old Fender equipment. I still have the original tilt-back wheels for the cabinet, but have installed casters on the bottom for easier movement (I doubt anyone would want to use the strange side mounted original wheels anyway). If you don't mind a look with some character, but want vintage tone with plenty of power, this amp will meet your needs and excede your expectations. This is a great amp but no longer suits my needs as a player. I'm asking $650 for the head and cab, but and open to trades for other interesting gear.
