I would prefer a DP who comes with his own camera and grip equipment and crew (we particularly want to shoot on a Canon 7D). The shoot date is not set in stone but we're looking at either late September or early October. The artist is independent and so would not be willing to pay as much as perhaps an artist with a label. Nonetheless, we still want a quality job done. The last video I directed was shown on MTVBase, Nijezie, Channel O (all of which are major networks across Africa) and several websites. This is for a person that is looking to improve their experiences in the post and pre-production film industry. Many projects are involved. As of now we will be operating/shooting in HD format at 1080p on a very cheap budget. Green screen, and lighting techniques will be explained and used frequently. Lots of visual effects, animation, compositing and motion graphics will be used in post-production as we will be using an assortment of high industry programs (Maya, After Effects, Shake, Combustion, Avid, etc...).
