When he wakes up in the morning he plays them, he runs to them when we get in the house, he even sits at the table and makes beats with is fork and spoon. Everything he does is about the drums. His father and I wanted to get him formal lessons. Most places will not take him until he is 6 yrs old. My son has a first act discovery drum set, and has learned everything he knows by watching others and repeating what he sees (he already has good rhythm, and will listen when you give instructions) I am in need of someone with PATIENCE who has their OWN drum set that can kind of help him to play better, and teach him how to treat his drum set properly. I can bring my son and his drum set to you so he can get his lessons. He is not completely potty trained yet, and he will always have a one of us present at each session. Before we schedule the sessions, I would like to hear a tape, of you playing, or maybe even see you play if possible. We need at least three references (they can be from church, school, or someone you trained in the pass.) we need them to be related to music please. Also since this is dealing with our two year old son, to anyone who meets the minimum requirements (see below) we will do a background check at our own expense. I would like for this to be long term at least until he turns six and can be put in formal classes. We think it is fair that we give a 12-15 session trial, to see if my son has learned anything before we actually commit to longer sessions. Minimum Requirements 1.
