<![CDATA[We are a small family (mother, father and 3 year old son) looking to rent a basement, rooms or a large room. A basement would be ideal. We are looking to move in this Saturday, October 18th or even Friday evening. A little about us. I work full time at a church downtown Monday through Friday. He works full time Monday - Friday moslty day hours. We are non-partiers, clean and good people, but not uptight. And there is no attitude or drama from us. I smoke (had quit but picked it back up this last month) but I can go outside, no problem. We have furniture, but if your place is furnished we can leave our stuff in storage. Or just bring the items that are needed. I recently moved in with a friend who had broken up with her girlfriend and now the girlfriend moved back in and she feels 'crowded', so we have to go. I would like to get my own apartment around December, so a short term place would be best. BUT, I wouldn't mind staying much longer for the perfect situation. Someone with a child(ren) would be nice, but not a must. Also, I like to cook, so access to a full kitchen is a must if we were to stay long term. I get paid weekly and would prefer to pay weekly, but we can pay monthly. I wasn't looking to move out so soon, so I haven't saved up enough for a security deposit, but this week I could do $250-300, then we could work out the rest. I love children and according to where the home is located, I can help watch your child at night. I get off of work at 4:30 and would make it to most places in the area around 5:30 p.m. My son has a routine and is usually in bed by 8-8:30. We are also good housekeepers and don't mind cleaning. And although we don't have any, we are comfortable with and love animals. So, if you need help walking your dog, etc. We can help with that, too. I just want to find a good situation where we can help each other out. If you just need extra cash for Christmas, but don't want the hassle of having someone living with you for a long time, this may be the situation for you. Or if the economy is getting to you and you need some extra income coming in. I'm a Christian (please don't read that as bible-thumping-meannie or crazy person), but you don't have to be. I'm open-minded and pretty easy going; as is my fiance. He likes football and Nascar and I like reading and cooking. I just want a place where everyone can feel comfortable.]]>

<![CDATA[If you have a SFH or a Townhouse for rent, under $1600.00, would you consider renting to a mid 50’s married couple who both work 40 hr weeks and have great job security, are nice people, easy to get along with and will keep your home looking great all the time? We both work in Laurel. I work for a Mental Health Social Service provider and my wife is a PG Co. Pub Sch. handicap bus transportation aid. She works with children in wheelchairs all day. We have no ‘live in’ children *son is 34 yrs old and lives with his family in North Carolina*…..We do have a small dog (shih zhu) 3 yrs old that is TOTALLY housebroken doesn’t destroy or chew anything but her toys and bones! Sound ok so far? We can move in Nov 1 and give you the one months security deposit.(I assume that’s what you'll be asking) Still ok? We are very quiet people who keep to ourselves, spend most of our off work time on our PCs and are great neighbors who keep an eye out on the neighborhood. Now the catch: We have lousy credit thanks to the IRS and some late payments along the line. We have declared Bankruptcy Chpt 7 and now the only bills we have will be our home and one car payment. We make over $76K per year between us. So we are a good risk. If you would consider this, please let me know. We are very anxious to move and would love our new start to be in a different home as well. We currently rent from an apt in Laurel and we hate it. Been here 7 yrs and the mgmt is horrible and so is the maintenance. The neighbors are the pits as well. We even had to move last yr 2 buildings up because of new neighbors above us showing their disrespect by jumping up and down on the floor at all hours and blasting us with a subwoofer on the stereo. Just in case you’re interested in giving a couple who have been through a lot to get just one break, you will not be sorry. Anybody you rent to will have more bills than we do now. I am not socially inept or annoying. I can talk to anybody of any background and always play nice with others. I am healthy in every way- mentally, spiritually and physically. I am a very social creature yet I find it easy to be alone and in turn leave you alone if that is what you wish. I'm darn handy too!
