<![CDATA[My name is Gary. I am 41 years old and the father of 2 kids (7 year old girl) and a (9 year old boy). I am a Registered Nurse and have custody of my 2 children who are both beautiful and healthy as can be. I am treating a bad case of Lyme disease right now with IV antibiotics. I was misdiagnosed for a 3 years and now I will have to be on IV antibiotics for at least the next 6 mos. to a year. The Antibiotics make me ill and I can't do alot with my kids right now. This is the worst part of the disease. I will go more into all of this with the right person. So, I need help with my kids, keeping them occupied with whatever. Simple things like help with meals, perhaps taking them to the park or to the movies periodically, etc. I can only tell you these are two of the best kids you will ever meet. They have hearts of Gold. They are both brilliant, creative, and very smart for their age. My illness has made them very strong at such young ages. We are survivors ! You must have your own transportation and references. The entire basement has been made into an apartment with a private bath. Cooking and laundry is done on the upper levels. I will consider someone with one or two children if they are similar in age to my children as playmates. If your just looking for a free place to live, please don't respond. If your in a serious relationship that takes up most of your time, please don't respond. The right person will have plenty of free time to themselves, but I need someone who is reliable and not working a full time job. My kids must come first !! There is a great mix of graduate students, young professionals, young families, seniors, etc. on this block. It is also a terrific mix of homeowners and renters. It is only 2-3 blocks from the JHU shuttle stop which has been a huge draw for graduate students and staff taking the shuttle to the medical campus, and we have had lots of tenants who do this. It is close enough to JHU Homewood Campus, as well as the restaurants, stores, and bars in Charles Village to be an easy 10 minute walk. Safeway is also an easy <10 minute walk as it is on 25th between Calvert and St. Paul Streets. Parking on the street is relatively easy. I am able to park right in front of my house most of the time. It is so much easier than the other streets in Charles Village where parking is tighter, there are bus stops that take up potential parking spots, you need to parallel park while on a high traffic street, there are street cleaning times where you have to move your car to the other side of the street, and you and any guests need to have a permit to park on the street. None of this is true of the quiet, cherry-tree lined Guilford Avenue on the 2600 and 2700 blocks!
