I'm not really sure where this project will go, but my hope is that in a year or so I'll have enough content from contributors to compile into a book, blog or other media. As this project is just in the idea stage, there is no compensation. However, if it succeeds, selected writers may receive compensation. The task is simple. Write a letter to your mother. Letters can be heartwarming, nostalgic, reminiscent, gut-wrenching, painful, happy, sad - really whatever you're feeling toward your mom. I want these letters to represent the full spectrum of emotions that children have toward their mothers throughout their life. The Columnist, Editorial, or Opinionated Writer Instead of reporting the news, you may want to comment or give your two cents on a certain topic in more depth or detail. These type of posts generally take longer to write than a general blog post ,since more time and thought goes into preparing your piece before you publish it. If chosen to become an Ed-Op writer, you’d get your own section on the site in our Opinions section; however there is also a greater commitment level of at least 1 post in the editorial/opinion section on our site. These newly created positions offer revenue share compensation through Google Adsense. There is a 50/50 split on ad impressions for all incoming writers on your respective article pages.
