I'm familiar with them so I won't need much rehearsing, so all we'll have to do is set them in front of you fine musicians and we should be good to go. If your selected you will be required to pay for your own charts, which comes out to about $ 65 bucks per musician including me. Since its formation 2004, the Boston String Quartet has been a creative leader in contemporary classical music in New England. Having made their professional debut at Weil Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall, the quartet performs their own arrangements of classical chamber music, rock, jazz, world music and more, and is continually “exploring different ways of sparking musical interest” [Boston Globe]. This journey has allowed for collaboration with John Mayer, the Boston Ballet, Jennifer Holliday, Lisa Fisher, Tim Janis, Dave Fiucznyski, as well as opportunity to perform at such venues as the Los Angeles Music Awards, PBS, Yankee Homecoming Festival, and for former president George H.W. Bush. Committed to music education in the Boston Metro area, the members of the Boston String Quartet are currently Ensemble-in-residence at contemporary music school, School of Groove. The assignment is to make a 3-5 minute video featuring one of several themes. I plan on involving a few of the themes. but that's not going to make it any harder on you. only me to write it. I plan on editing the video to be similar in visual style to Sin City. each character wearing a small something VERY blue, being the only thing in color. I'd like the actors to be dressed as noir-esque as possible. Characters: MAN, 20's, middle class, seemingly apathetic to start, but friendly. Dating woman #1. wears a blue tie. WOMAN ONE, 20's, upper middle class, quick to act, high strung. Girlfriend of MAN, wears a blue headband. WOMAN TWO, also 20's lower middle class (certainly not poor), fun, energetic, hardly sit still, friendly. wears a bright blue gem on her necklace. I am looking for three male performers for a Performance Art piece this Saturday at 7:00 I am a graduate student at MIT’s Visual Arts Program and I am creating a new work that entails three men who feel comfortable being nude. The piece is about looking at deep sea creatures and the ways in which they adapt to their specific environments. As we see in videos and photographs, sea creatures have some of the most unique variety of adaptations to their environments, camoflague, decoys, protective devices, etc… In this performance, the human body will be seen for its functions. A small wooden row-boat will be suspended from the ceiling with a hoist about 5 feet off the ground. A couple will be in the boat composed of a man, a woman, a bottle of wine and a radio. Below the boat will be three men all nude laying on the ground below the boat. Three small streams of water will be dripping off the boat (through small tubes). These small streams of water will be flowing directly into the mouths of the men below. <![CDATA[Three male performers for a Performance Art piece this Saturday at 7:00 I am a graduate student at MIT’s Visual Arts Program and I am creating a new work that entails three men who feel comfortable being nude. The piece is about looking at deep sea creatures and the ways in which they adapt to their specific environments. As we see in videos and photographs, sea creatures have some of the most unique variety of adaptations to their environments, camoflague, decoys, protective devices, etc… In this performance, the human body will be seen for its functions. A small wooden row-boat will be suspended from the ceiling with a hoist about 5 feet off the ground. A couple will be in the boat composed of a man, a woman, a bottle of wine and a radio. Below the boat will be three men all nude laying on the ground below the boat. Three small streams of water will be dripping off the boat (through small tubes). These small streams of water will be flowing directly into the mouths of the men below.
