I did roll the quad on a trail and it has a couple of scuffs on the plastic ( i show those in the pics). The reason I decided to sell it is because I bought it before I moved from Wilmington and I thought I would have more time to ride it. Also I have a baby on the way so I have other responsibilities. The Quad is a work of art. This thing is beautiful, handles great, and it is way too fast! It is near impossible to keep the front wheels off of the ground. This is a great track bike it soaks up bumps and jumps like no other quad out there. I have the title for this also. This is an amazing quad and it needs a good home. Here's my list: 79 Shortbed, just passed inspection last month, recently painted Pearl White, Lowered the correct way with springs, shocks, and rubber stops(Low as it can go without being rediculas or using bags), rims painted black and clear coated several times, all chrome on the truck is awesome, has a chrome grill insert that was on when i got it, i just tinted the windows myself and look great from the outside, but the inside you can tell im not a professional haha, i also installed a small but pretty decent system, includes Head unit, 6 1/2 inch door speakers, two brand new 10s(week old), and 300 watt amp. Also the interior has been redone, took the seat out and laid down new carpet, bench seat has a cover on it, the dash and door panels are now covered in black cloth, and head unit relocated to the center of the dash for better access. Engine: This USED to be an Inline 6 cylinder truck, so it isnt quite as heavy as it would be with a factory V8. Engine bay has been painted black and in it has been swapped with a 305 and a 3 Speed manual. Used to be a 3 speed on the column, but has been converted to the floor where it should be, along with this is a Hurst shifter set-up. The clutch is a stiff one so i recommend you be pretty decent at driving a stick. The engine runs beautifully with no problems and has only seen Premium gasoline since ive owned it. The only mods are dual cherry bomb exhaust, which if i were you,i would put new exhuast on since they arent so new and i believe one side has become disconnected from age. Thats it, but the truck has power for sure, when its warmed up it will grab gears(Spins all 3 in the rain). The only flaws i can think of is the Speedometer doesnt work and could use an oil and filter change, also the bed isnt as great as it could be, i recommend bed liner and/or bed cover.
