About the apartment – You will have your own room and bathroom. The room comes attached with a walk in closet. The area of the entire apartment is 1150 sq-ft. The living room, dining area and the kitchen are fully furnished. There is a twin mattress, box spring, a small table and a chair in the room that is available for rent. It will be your call whether you want to keep it or would like me to discard it.

The apartment has premium light fittings (most of these things are visible in the pictures attached) and the kitchen has gas burners. Microwave, Refrigerator and Dishwasher are included. The stove runs on gas (I have always preferred cooking on gas). The kitchen is fully equipped since I love to cook and do so everyday. Feel free to bring your kitchenware. There is plenty of closet space in the kitchen and a pantry where I could accommodate your wares.

The apartment has a gas fireplace.

The apartment complex is pet friendly and so am I. But since I do not have any pets, if you plan on bringing one, I would expect you to pay the one time pet fee which I think is $200.

Car Parking – Covered Garage parking with a garage opener is included. The remote to the building has two buttons – one opens the garage and the other lets you into the lobby of the building.

Community Features – Swimming pool, workout facility, business center (all their computers actually work). Business center includes, printing, scanning, copying, gift-wrapping and movie rentals. I think there was more that was offered by the complex but I never really needed to use those things so I don’t remember.

Safety – The apartment, located in the upscale Eastover area of Charlotte is significantly safer than some of the other complexes that I saw in the uptown and other areas of Charlotte. Safety was a primary concern for me and I researched around 15 apartment complexes in this rent range before deciding to live here. I used the Charlotte Police Department’s website to see crime stats for the past one year in all of the areas where I saw apartments I liked. You are most welcome to do the same (I would recommend you did this even if you didn’t decide on living at this apartment)

Rent/Utilities – The rent for the entire apartment is $1150. The electric bill usually runs up to $55-$65 per month, gas $13.52 per month (I’m not too sure how much the gas will cost in the winter if we used the fireplace), water and trash approximately $25 per month. All of this will be split between the two of us.

I would prefer that you sign the lease for the period that you are going to stay but if you are not ok with that, we could still discuss further.

About me – I am 24, male, and I work for a bank uptown. My hobbies include cooking, listening to music and traveling. I am a stickler for cleanliness but the occasional mess doesn’t bother me as long as there is a reason for that (friends coming over, too tired from work, etc)

I'm looking for someone AROUND my age, male or female, who is responsible, doesn't have constant house parties, and I can depend on to pay rent. I don't smoke and can't handle smoking in the house at all or heavy smoking outside the house. I rarely drink, I don't expect you not to but I do expect you to not be drunk all the time and I don't want to have to clean up after you. So liking animals is going to have to be a given if your going to live with me. They are sweet dogs however one is a puppy but doing great with training.
