The Research Scientist/Biomedical Engineer, Advanced Clinical Research and New Medical Device Development will be involved in the development of new applications of neurostimulation devices as well as the definition, development, and clinical trials of new devices, with specific responsibility to:

• Develop and maintain substantial knowledge of select clinical applications, and attend conferences and seminars to meet potential collaborators and to keep abreast of research and clinical developments.
<br>
• Define and specify device modifications that are necessary or desirable for adaptation of neurostimulation technology to new or improved applications, and work with Research and Development team and clinical investigators during development for further refinement.
<br>
• Initiate new clinical trials, including development of clinical trial protocols and surgical implantation procedures, in collaboration with clinical investigators and internal Clinical Research team.
<br>
• Attend clinical trial procedures and follow-up visits as necessary to observe, revise, and improve procedures and outcomes.

• Analyze and interpret data from clinical trials
