Home:(216)663-4277 **** Cell:(216)581-3593 WEEKLY FIELD TRIPS: *Childrens Museum *Great Lakes Science Center *Zoo/Rainforest *Library *Clague Park WEEKLY RATES/HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday-Friday: 7:00am - 11:00pm (10hrs. per day max!) ***I do have third shift available for those in need.*** Weekends: Anytime as long as there is a spot open. (They fill up fast!) $110.00 per week, per child, this includes all weekly field trips, activites, snacks, hot meals, and educational supplies and crafts. Monday-Friday first or second shift. WEEKENDS: $30.00 per day, during the day, if you need weekends.(10hrs. Max!) $40.00-For overnight on weekends. There is a one time fee of $50.00 per year per child, when you first sign up. This fee goes towards membership fees for the above weekly field trips. The $50.00 ensures unlimited full access to all field trips listed above. I am very big on education, and very hands on with the children. We do alot of activities and crafts, and enjoy our weekly outings. I babysit for 50 hours, 40 for the parents, and 10 making up for their hour drive there and home every day, i deserve more, i plan for the children. have you parents work more than take care of your kids, im with the child for 10 hours a day, mom is with it from 6:30-8pm when its sleep time. I take the baby EVERYWHERE, plan everything ect..ect.. i dont just feed and change the child, that is a part time sitter, i agree, you shouldn't expect much needing someone here or there, but if you want a full time nanny, to clean up, feed, ect.. your child you need to pay, you will pay for you what you get. Why do you think so many babysitters stand up you parents, because i will take any other job offer over yours, and not give you notice, its reality. Im 41 yrs old CPR and FirtAid Certified with 2 degrees in the medical field. I started doing childcare this past Sept and have 3 lovely families with the childrens ages 6 months to 7yrs. Two families are Part-time (1-2 days a week) and one is Full-time (4 days a week). Full or Part-time is not a problem. My 4th families last day is this Friday due to the childrens grandmother being layed off of work. We do leave for 30 min a day to go pick up my daughter at school but we do not get out of the car as teachers help the students into the cars during car-pool. I have ample car seats in my 2002 Chevy Mini Van for all the children. Also do not have a problem if you would like to check my driving record or fingerprints. Your childs day will be very active and filled with music, art, learning, play-time, outdoors and so much more. I provide all the meals while your child is in my care. Meals are based on the nurtition guidelines of Cuyahoga County and 90% of them are hot meals. I never serve any peanut products (unless ok'd by the parents), no hotdogs or kool-aid. All I ask you to provide is the following: Diapers or pullups if needed Formula if needed A change of cloths that is for the weather A blanket / toy or both for the child to have when we have our 45 min. of quiet time.--soft music is played during this time. While I tend to agree that 5 dollars per hour is low, I do have an issue with women and teenagers who have little more than a high school degree (if that) who respond to posts requesting upwards of 12-15 dollars per hour with benefits and paid vacations. To the previous poster who quoted the minimum wage at 7 dollars an hour, did it occur to you that perhaps some people who work for minimum wage might also have children at home who need tended to? All of a sudden that 5 dollars looks fairly generous. Or should they pay you 15 per hour and be in a deficit of 10 dollars for every hour that they worked? Again, if you feel that what someone is offering is beneath you, then be a doll and skip over their post and save us all the pain of having to decipher your angst through misspelled words and poor grammar. Ironic, I realize, for me to be saying this through yet another non-board-related post, but it's been a long day and I am just so sick of reading about people who proclaim the world an unfair and greedy place without first taking a look in the mirror. ]]>
