I prefer someone tidy, quiet and single. I work as an intern architect and work regular hours and expect courtesy regarding my ability to get a good night sleep - so no loud parties or lovers on weekday nights. If someone boyfriend or girlfriend starts living here - I'll charge them rent too - its only fair ;) I'm about to begin studying for the ARE so I'll mostly be busy studying over the next six months. I own a townhouse in the Forest Acres area. It's a three story condo with a currently unfurnished and unoccupied third floor master suite. That is the space I would be looking to rent out. The first floor is a kitchen/dining/living room area that is public. I have my bedroom on the second floor with a small office. The first floor is fully furnished and any dishes or furniture will need to go upstairs! I have a small bit of attic space. The third floor has its own heat system so you will be able to control your own temperature. It has its own small private bathroom. A HUGE Walk in closet. (We're talking a closet larger than most people's bathrooms) Small sitting room area and large main room. It also has a second large linen type closet. The bedroom area has a nice ceiling fan. I'm repainting the bathroom right now so I don't have pics yet but I will email you photos of my house if you are interested. The downstairs area has a nice little patio with a grill and a few chairs I've bummed from my folks. The back yard is tiny but has a small creek running behind the house and its very nice to listen to it bubble after it rains. The complex also has a pool that will reopen late April and you would be welcome to use it. The residents are generally pretty quiet and friendly. There aren't many kids but there are a few. And a few dogs but mostly just cats. The rent covers water, internet, phone , and maintenance. Since you have your own a/c unit and I can't predict what the rise in the electric bill would be - you'll owe me half for that. It fluctuates from about $80 to $130 a month depending on the season. The $80 months are when I don't turn the a/c on at all and just open the doors and enjoy the weather. I'll need a security deposit of half a month's rent upfront and references. <![CDATA[I currently live on the 15th floor in Senate Plaza on Senate Street, two blocks from both the capital and campus. It’s on campus without actually being on campus. I walk to classes every day. I don’t have a car, but there is an available space. I'll have to ask my former roommate if he wants to include it in the price. The apartment is fully furnished, 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths with large windows (all dressed) and a nice balcony. There is a washer and dryer and they have laundry services downstairs if you have any big loads. I don’t smoke nor do I have any pets. I don’t know what the policy on animals is. Dogs would be okay with me. The building has a swimming pool, 24-hour doorman, package delivery and a workout room. It’s located right in front of Pendelton St. Garage. The rent includes all utilities. Each room has its own thermostat to control the heater/air conditioner. We have cable, but no phones or internet. I have a wireless card I use and my cell phone. The USC network isn’t available here, sorry. My roommate has just moved out to take care of his mother and I’m in need of someone to replace him. I’m a 22-year-old female student at USC undergrad. Male/female, either one works for me. However, you must be at least 21. This is my first semester here. I’m a transfer student from the College of Charleston. I have about 3-4 semesters left and I will be here during the summer. Afterwards, I’m hopefully going into USC’s master’s program so I’ll be here for awhile. I’m a Creative Writing major with a German minor. The room has two double-door closets and is the master room. There is a dresser, two nightstands, and a bookshelf. The bed and furniture belong to my roommate. There are two leather couches, a TV with an entertainment center, a desk and a kitchen table with chairs in the living area. It all belongs to my roommate and he doesn’t mind leaving it here. The bed in the available bedroom is actually a tempurpedic that elevates and vibrates. He left it here and I don’t know when he’s going to pick it up. The bed is extremely expensive and I believe he might want a deposit. I could probably get him to move his things if it was needed. He has left some things here. About me, I’m in my fifth year of college. I’m from Greenville and spent 3 years at the College of Charleston. I also studied in the UK. I’m a writer who is working on a four book series. I love rock music but am not a loud person. I keep my stuff in my room (a habit from previous dorm life). I like the reality shows on Bravo like Project Runway, Top Chef and Top Design. I keep things clean and don’t like clutter. I also recycle whatever I can.
