You must have experience in a production sewing setting, preferably with more than one type of machine. Knowledge of lean/modular/Toyota Sewing System a plus, but not strictly necessary. You must be highly organized and motivated. There will be no hand-holding, or we wouldn't be contracting this out. We have been in business for 6 years, and have over 300 retail accounts. We're just making the transition to in-house manufacturing. We primarily specialize in sustainable fibers (organic cotton, e.g.), and work only in wovens. All of our products are currently made using either single-needle straight stitch or 5-thread serger machines (limited). We're also cutting in-house.
