Your expression is more important than me getting my $1200 deposit back. It's your room and you're paying for it. Hell, if you wanted rules, you would just live at mom and dad's right? I am so happy to be out of my parent's place. I can do what ever I want except for the things listed in my ten page lease. In other words, we all have rules we have to follow! I then contacted the city to see if they could knock a little off the water bill if I offered up some "benefits". I offered to cook for the gas company. Surprisingly, they all said no. That just confirmed my suspicions that all utilities are operated by dirty unichs that never eat. I will have to come up with cash for them. If you are energy conscience, it helps you. That's more money I can give you to live with me. If you are offering "benefits", please check with my wife first. She's been in charge of that for years and she may not want to upset the balance of power she has. Then again, she may be able to employ you in ways far beyond my imagination to further remove my masculine nature. By moving in, you can help me potty train my daughter by yelling and cursing at her when she barges in on your shower time. My son definately needs his confidence shaken when he accidentaly brushes your out of order baby feeders by telling him how much of a bad kid he is. He's four years old. He's not manipulating you in to sex like your last 3 boyfriends. Nor, do I want him drawing on your chest with markers while you sleep. If you are a college student, You are going to have to be more specific about what area you are looking for near UNT, UTA and UTD. The classrooms are spread all over DFW. <![CDATA[I'm looking for a lease (w/option to buy would be great) on a 3 bedroom home. I am currently leasing a 3/2 DW on 2-acres in kaufman. Let me explain my situation so everyone is on the same page. Upon signing a lease with the owner of the property we had originally intented to do an owner finance. He stated that he wanted to lease it to us for one year with option to buy at the time with half of our rent for the year being put towards a down payment. We moved into the house before signing the lease, so he had us in a tough spot, and didn't include the option to buy in the terms, he also added $300 to the deposit and went up on the rent an additional $30. Now we have completed our lease as of october '08 and the owner decided to put the house on the market, we are on a month to month renewing contract until he finds a buyer for the home, he did ensure us that it will not be before January, and will provide us with 30 days notice to vacate. For some unknown reason he's decided not to owner finance, I have assumed this was his original intentions. So as you can hopefully understand I was taken advantage of by the real estate industry. I'm not prepared at all to move into an apartment. I have built a shed on the property, have trailers, riding mowers, trampoline and much other things that just wouldn't suit apartment living. I'm open to anything within close distance to kaufman, but prefer in kaufman. Anytime from now until I find a home by february is acceptable. I do also own 2 acres of land in kemp, and would be open to purchasing a Double Wide for placement on my property and roll the land into terms. At this time I don't have much money to invest into housing, but after tax time I will have at least $4,000 additional to put towards housing. <![CDATA[Happy Holidays Everyone! (Writing this from a friend's house.) I am a single mother of one 5 yr old. I'm in a horrible custody battle and divorce. I am able to spend within $400-550 a month for a 1br+ apartment. I am as of yesterday officially homeless and living in my car. I have called almost every single apartment complex in the Bedford, Hurst, Euless, and Grapevine area in my budget and been rejected. The reason is that my son broke out of our house in Cedar Hill in Jan/07 and the police brought him back to me after he crossed the street to the corner store. I was charged with a felony charge of 'Endangering a child' and 'Abandoning a child'. In Sept 08 the 'Abandoning a child' charge was dismissed. (How can you abandon your child in your home, with him sleeping next to you.) I didn't have money for a lawyer to take the case to trial, and therefore am under probation for a felony of 'Endangering a Child' for 2 yrs, which is over in Nov 09. Because it is a felony charge, not a conviction, or violent, no one will take my money for an apartment. If you can help, have an apartment, or know any information that can help me, please do so. I work in Bedford so something relatively close is prefered. I need something other then living in my car. Thanks for reading. P.S. I will be attending the SMU Guildhall program next semester starting Jan 12 and I'm looking for affordable housing for the duration of my time at the Guildhall (~18 months). I'm looking to rent either an apartment or just a room (or whatever else you may have if it's clean and a good deal). I could also use a roommate to help split housing costs.
