<![CDATA[I am selling my all mountain rig. I am a poor college student now, and need money to get up on the slopes this season. The bike is an AC 2 made by giant that retailed for 2,200 in 03. I believe it's the year prior's model though. It has a rock shox pro deluxe with reserve in the rear with 6" adjustable to 5" or 4.5" depending on the riding, fully adjustable on recoil and dampening.I have intense 909's on sun rims rhyno lite xl wheels which I have yet to anything more to than some minor bends from true. The front brakes were recently bled which are both hayes hydros 8" discs. The front suspension is a rock Shox Psylo with adjustable travel. I am selling it cheaper than I normally would because the shock needs new seals. Front wheel has a through axle which is perfect for bigger stuff. The whole bike hasn't been ridden really for a year at least. Frame is in great shape aside from cosmetic scratches. It has solid components, including a cane creek headset, race face bb and cranks, and shimano deore shifter components. The pedals are just black platforms and the saddle is wtb I believe. If interested, the bike is at my parent's house in Highlands Ranch, but I live in Boulder at CU. I can have the bike here by this weekend or down there any time. It has LX rear and I think a Deore front shifter. Trans-X bars with a nice upsweep. Color matched blue S-works stem. The front wheel is the solid 9mm axle Specialized Stout. SDG seat platform pedals (might have some SPD's lying around if you want some.) Rock Shox Judy forks. Has new WTB Velociraptor tires front and back. I am a mechanic so all regular maintanance has been performed. It also still has the Bicycle Village sticker on the frame so you can get the free tune up every year from them. <![CDATA[Ok people. Here is a really nice 2004 KHS Team Edition Soft Tail. No cracks, dents, almost no chain rub, and very few chips under the frame from small rocks bouncing up. All you people out there looking to upgrade from hardtail to full suspension do your self a favor and look into a soft tail, unless you willing to throw down a lot of money for a well designed FS frame. Otherwise you will hate how slow, heavy, un-efficient and overrated all the entry to mid level FS bikes are. Not to mention how much maintenance is involved and the cost of a decent rear shock. There is a reason this KHS sold for $2,900 in 2004. Its well made well designed and a really nice ride. This is the bike that will do everything. Single speed, fixie, XC racer, or Flying to campus and back in style. Chances are you wont ever see anyone riding the same bike. Can be built up to weigh in at 23lbs!!! Sale includes a Cane Creek sealed cartridge headset and XT bottom bracket. <![CDATA[I bought this saddle brand new just over three months ago. Since then, I have put about 3500 miles on it. I am a tourer, and I bought the Brooks because everyone I have ever met on my adventures who used a Brooks leather saddle always had nothing but praise for the seats. So I figured I would do myself well to get one. The only consideration I didn't make in purchasing this saddle, however, is the shape. The saddle works great, I conditioned it using the Brooks Proofide, and it has softened up considerably since new. And it is still fairly comfortable for me, and for short rides, it is excellent. But for consecutive days of over 80 miles a day, it has done a number on my body. Unfortunately, due to my body, I require a bit of a flatter saddle. Most people seem to do just great with this style of saddle, however. So, I do feel bad about parting with this Brooks. Even though we don't completely mesh, there is just something special about a quality-made leather saddle like this. I'll probably try a different model of Brooks. Like I said, the saddle is only just over three months old. I bought it in June in Knoxville, Tennessee. Since then I have ridden over 3500 miles on it. The saddle is in near new condition with only a few minor scuffs. The leather is in great shape, and I would guess that one could easily get over 20 years on this thing. I've heard of Brooks saddles being passed down three generations. I still have the original care instructions. This is a great deal. You get the quality of the Brooks leather saddle for a discounted price, and it is already somewhat broken in! You get to skip the agonizing first couple hundred miles of softening the hard, hard leather.
