Develops, directs, produces, edits and shoots on-air journalistic programs both live and taped. To include but not limited to City Council meetings, Planning Commission meetings, A-Files, Cop Talk, Let’s Talk and Arvada Insights. <br> <br> 2. Produces, edits and formats promotional, documentary, news, special events, and entertainment material and insures assigned production systems meet station and government access television standards, using a variety of state of the art computerized software. <br> <br> 3. Designs and coordinates multimedia/non-broadcast production services including but not limited to powerpoint presentations, cd/dvd instructional and educational presentations. <br> <br> 4. Responsible for shooting still pictures using journalistic skills for print, digital presentations, world wide web and broadcast television. <br> <br> 5. Responsible for setup and operation of field production equipment including placement and use of lights, microphones, cameras, scripts and music for specialty events. <br> <br> 6. Researches new programming sources for the development and/or acquisition of programs that have public service content and technological advances in the market place. <br> <br> 7. Troubleshoot, repair, and operate professional broadcast studio and related analog and digital equipment, perform broad systems administration and technical support for Macintosh hardware and software and local area networks. <br> <br> 8. Design and create visual graphics for use in print, web and broadcast applications; Interpret concepts for City departments to be included in brochures, report covers, certificates, television programming and on the world wide web. <br> <br> 9. Assists in scheduling programming for playback for KATV using automated playback software. <br> <br> 10. Maintains inventory of media stock including tapes, CDs, DVDs, film and office supplies. <br> <br> 11. Creates and provides dubs of various programs for City departments, elected officials, city officials and citizens. <br> <br> 12. Responsible for coaching and directing voice over talent to produce captivating audio for editing purposes. <br> <br> 13. Responsible for becoming familiar with and researching music libraries used in KATV productions. <br> <br> 14. Maintains a flexible work schedule that will allow for weekend and night hours.
