Or does your Les Paul, Gibson, Etc., Etc., need those special modifications put in it you have always wanted. Then I am the one to do it. My name is Bruce Taylor and I am a Certified Luthier from Bryan Galloup's Guitar Hospital in Michigan. I specialize in Vintage Guitar/Bass repairs/restorations. I have been doing repairs and building guitars for almost 30 years now. We here at Taylor and Sons realize how bad the economic crunch has hit as all. With the price of gas and everything else rising so high that it makes it hard to make ends meet. We here have to travel a lot to and from work as hard as all you do. So in this light we have decided to greatly lower our hourly rates to enable all you hard working musicians to be able to have some most need repairs you may have. I being a professional musician myself; realize how hard it is to keep your stuff working its' best. We hope this helps all those that we are trying to help that needs are work as well in these difficult times. Do to this the shop ours have changed to Mon.-Fri. 10:00am-6:00pm with Sat. hours of 10:00am-2:00pm. The new hourly rates are now $35 an hour plus any parts or materials. These rates will stay good from August 5, 2008 to May 1, 2009 plus depending on the economy this may be extended. The prices in all have been lowered so if there is something you are looking for than call or email anytime to find out these new AWESOME prices. We will have another acoustic coming out in a couple of weeks. We are sorry here at Taylor and Sons that we cannot get them out any faster. However with all the repairs for the musicians out there in need I have to make time for both. The bad side to this is the production of the acoustics slows down. Annual Blowdown, that featured the great Billy Branch, this year’s show will bring to the stage one of the top blues harmonica players on the scene today - Marco Pandolfi. A native of Vicenza, Italy, Marco’s eclectic mix of Chicago style and Country Blues harmonica make him an artist of great diversity. His effortless virtuosity allows him to be equally proficient playing an up-tempo Little Walter style shuffle, 20's ragtime blues or jazz influenced ballads. Marco has toured extensively in Europe and the US, playing many of the top International blues festivals. He has accompanied many top US blues artist including Richard Ray Farrell, Paul Oscher, Bob Margolin, Alex Schultz, and Janiva Magness. Marco has played the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Ground Zero in Clarksdale, Mississippi with the Delta Groove All- Star Revue and the world famous Rhythm Room in Phoenix with Bob Corritone. Marco is a world class bluesman and a master of his instrument - the harmonica. Joining Marco at the Blowdown will be some of the Rocky Mountain area’s finest harp players. Dan Treanor, Northern Blues recording artist and Hohner endorsee, Al Chesis, leader of the Delta Sonics and Clay Kirkland, Swallow Hill artist in residence.
