This position will be full-time; the hours may vary, according to the centers needs, so your schedule needs to be very flexible. Job Description: The lead teacher implements the early childhood program as designed by The Learning Experience while demonstrating exceptional professional conduct and consideration for the safety and welfare of the children. Qualifications: Lead teachers need at least 12 semester hours in an early childhood field as well as 960 hours working with children. An associate or CDA in early childhood is preferred. Site visitors will participate in 2-3 days of training in obsevational protocol prior to making observations in the schools. Site visitors will also conduct 4-6 full-day site visits during the latter part of October/early November Training is required and provided. Travel mileage to scheduled sites will be reimbursed. Site visits will be conducted from late October-early November 2008 and January-May 2009. Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in related area required; master's degree in related area preferred 2.
