This year, the guys had to cancel last minute, so I though I'd check to see if anyone out there felt like playing a bit and joining us to eat about 20 different competing chilis! This isn't a paying gig, but if you just want to get together to practice in front of like 40 or so fun people, while enjoying the fall weather, we'd feed you well, quench your thirst and you'll have a good time. <![CDATA[I'm 20 and fervently dedicated! If you've got some jazz, reggae, pop/rock, electronica, indie, experimental, or hiphop project in need of low-end, I'm your guy! HOWEVER, I'm not interested in a metal project. I've been playing bass since I was 14, and have been into music and theory since I was 11. I'm not afraid to contribute to the group. Some of my influences include Jamiroquai, 311, Incubus, a lot of Motown, Fugazi, Blur, Thrice, John Coltrane, The Crystal Method, At the Drive In, Peter Tosh, No Doubt, and many, many others. I have fully professional equipment and reliable transport for all of it. If you have a serious project (which is preferred), I have no issues with relocating, touring, jumping out of planes, fighting bears, etc. Also, I'm not afraid to sing. I don't like my voice, but I've heard I have a pleasant tenor, so I guess that's available as well. Finally, I'm completely clean; I don't drink, smoke, or do any other rubbish. I'm available for a band or session work. In terms of a band, I can also make contributions on guitar as well in terms of songwriting.
