<![CDATA[Hi. My names Kathyrn and I volunteer for a local non-profit rescue group called Helping Every Animal Downriver society. In June of this year, we rescued a "pure mutt" as I call her out of a killing shelter. She was scheduled to be euthenized the day we got her. Last month on the 8th, she was adopted out. She was a real sweetie with a lot of energy and a great licker!(We always said "She can't control her licker!") She was adopted out to a divorced lady who had two children between the ages or 6-10. Just today, we got a phone call saying that she was moving, and that she could no longer keep her. Supposedly, the lady is moving out on Monday(Labor Day) and is not allowed to keep dogs. This makes no sense since no apartment will move some one in on Labor Day. The reason we are giving her for free is because all her vet bills have been paid by the current owner(the one giving her up). At the moment, she is not in our care. But our adoption contract states that she must give the dog back to us if she does not want her anymore. Therefore, we will be getting her tomorrow. She has a list of vet bills/papers that go with her. INFORMATION ABOUT "PATCHES". -She is up to date on all shots and is not due until June of 2009. -She was also spayed in June of 2008. -She is completely house broken, crate trained, and knows basic commands. -She weighs a small-medium 36lbs. -She's approximately 1-2 yrs old. -She's mainly all white, with a beagle face and light tan patches on her back and base of tail. Her head stand at about knee high. -One problem is she does NOT do well in pet stores, such as Petsmart, Pet Supplies Plus, etc. We feel this is because she was left at one and because of the cages like at the shelter. -She gets along well with other dogs, but they have to meet in a home, because she freaks out in public.(I have four dogs, and she was a foster for a month with them and they did fine together) To adopt her, all you have to do is fill out a questionnaire so we know where she goes, and how to contact you(email and 2 phone #'s.) I love them and they are so much fun, but i've tried a few things to help my allergies, nothings working. they are dutch. One is grey and white(likes to ricochet off the walls), the other black and white(loves to be pet). Both love carrots, grapes and romaine lettuce. Price is negotiable. maybe 40 for both rabbits, cage, water bottle, dish and food. They have already been to the vet and they are healthy. They need a home with lots of love. Rabbits like to be pet, in fact, they need it. They are not recommended for children under 8, unless parents take full responsibility. ]]>

She is a fun kitty and likes to play with other felines. She likes to give kitty baths to the other kitties, too. She is full of purrs, and also likes to play with you. She is a smart kitty and fun to have around. She is also quite pretty, and gets along with dogs providing they are kitty-friendly. Can't get mom's papers as it is a rescue and the owner won't give them up. vet checked tails docked and due claws removed. Puppys have lots of attention and are relating to people very well. Mom is extremely nice with people, she came from a awesome litter ! Big puppy's square heads, wonderful markings... No runts in this litter, they were rotated every 20 minutes for the first 6 days. Both are litter trained and had the first set of shots. Nala looks pure gray (almost blue) from a distance, but has orange spots when you get close. Her brown eyes stand out against her gray fur. Theodore is a caramel color. Both babies are so soft... and purr every time you pick them up. Wonderful cats, I would keep them if I didn't have a full house! <![CDATA[Meet Riley, a beautiful 3 yo Male Greenwing that is not only smart but playful as all get out! Riley came to live with my buddy Mike when his owner moved into a place that couldn't accept birds. She helped pay for Riley's expenses for a time and now she told Mike to find another home for Riley. What a sweetie he is fully feathered, hand tame and plays like there is no tomorrow, he is definitely a good addition to any house, kids ok! Vet checked and micro-chipped Riley can move right in to your family with limited supervision over the children until they get to know him. He is a great starter Macaw for those who want to get into larger birds. I have monitored this bird for several months now and I highly approve of him! I rarely give out good marks for adult Macaws but with Mike's wonderful stewardship and of course, lovingly raised and nurtured by his original owner he is definitely an exception! Riley's owner wants him to go to a loving home and of course responsible too, so she has set a re-homing fee of 800.00 but give Mike a call and see where he stands at the moment. Mike needs all of his birds gone soon as he is in the process of having his home "licensed and certified" as a baker so he can start his business there. He is a great guy. He lives in Fraser Michigan on Frazo (10 1/2 Mile Road just off Gratiot) so it is easy to find his home. Non-smoking, perfectly clean and Riley has only been on the best diet! <![CDATA[We are moving a no-kitty apartment and unfortunatly have to rehome this beautiful girl. Meet Little Cat! She's about 3 years old and was found as a stray when she was just a kitten, she isn't fixed or declawed (I don't agree with declawing) but she is trained to use a scratching post. She always uses her litter box, does not spray, and is a well behaved cat. She is very quiet and is a "sit back and watch" type of cat. Little Cat is an independent cat, but when she wants love she will definatly let you know. She tends to be the dominate cat over our others, but she does get along well with them. I personally would suggest a no-cat home, just to avoid any tense situations. She cannot go to a home with small children. She is not mean or agressive, but there is a strong chance she would react defensivly if handled roughly or grabbed. She also does not have dog experience. She would be a great companion for a single person or senior! We would prefere a family that would keep her inside-only, as we have kept her mostly inside for 3 years, but she does have outside living survival skills and I think she would do great on a farm or in a country setting. I'm asking a $50 rehoming fee to ensure her new family will give her the love she deserves. She'll come with a covered litter box, food bowl, and some food. Her setup will be included which is a custom cage with top and front side glass and sliding back doors. its 4.5'Lx2'Wx2"H. the cage has tile layed down on bottom for easy clean up. there is also a ultratherm heating pad(12x29) attached to a Johnsons a419 Thermostat. She was my brothers dog and he has moved out of state and wont return. Keeney is the sweetes dog alive she will do anything for you! She is fully trained and will protect you at all times. I'm posting this to warn the craigslist community about dishonest people that use this website and take advantage of others. Everyone should know about her. She should not be allowed to have animals. Do not adopt to her or from her! I responded to this woman's ad for a chihuahua and was going to take him home to see how it would work out. We signed an agreement on the 14th stating that it was a trial adoption and I could return him and receive my money back if it didn't work out. After keeping him over night we decided not to adopt him. I contacted her to let her know and she told me she was in Miami due to a family emergency and wouldn't be back for quite some time. She asked if I would try to adopt him out for her on Craigslist. I was shocked that she left the state and didn't even try to contact me since I had her dog, but I felt bad for her situation so i agreed. I told her I would try but expected her to keep to her end of our agreement if I couldn't find anyone for him. That was on the 15th. I tried for a week and told her that no one was responding and that I wanted to return him to her. She said there was no one that could watch him until she returned and she was sorry. By this time I was starting to wonder about how honest she was and decided to go by her house while I was in the area with my mother-in-law. I knocked on the door and waited. My mother-in-law was in the car and saw (through the front window)a blonde woman walk to the door, look-out and run upstairs with two kids. I called her house phone (no answer of course)and left a message saying I was at her door and that i needed to return her dog. She never came out and we left. I went back home and e-mailed her asking why she hadn't told me she had returned from Miami. She said she hadn't returned and that was her dog sitter who ran upstairs and hid when I knocked because she is 17 and was told not to answer the door! I mentioned that my mother-in-law also saw two kids (because the woman I got the dog from is blonde and has two kids) and her response was that the dog sitter also babysits so she may have had children with her but she didn't know. LOL. After that she got very nasty and said they WERE NOT taking him back because her husband refuses and once he makes up his mind there is no swaying it. She suggested that i send him to a rescue and she forwarded several old Craiglist pet want ads to me. She wont give me my money back and expects me to take her dog to a rescue. I could return him to her, she could give me back my money and she could take him to a rescue, right? Obviously, I cant just drop the little guy off at her house and leave.
