I will first tell myself and then to you all. Do not Hate. Calm down.

Passion is good, hate is not. Knowledge is good. Respect the intent of the question and the questioner.

Okay..

1. Socialism is not America. American principles promote ideals that quite opposite to socialism. Now socialism is not bad for every country. Some are founded and have gained on socialistic principles for ages and it has become the way of life there.

2. Promotion of socialism based on the ideals of select few is wrong for America. You may see benefits to it, but this is not the right place for it.
You believe in it, that is fine. Respect the beliefs of others, the majority.
Respect the constitution, what provides fundamental freedom and government non intervention and limitless growth under the laws of the land.

3. What is also wrong is how some of you want it slapped on to America, knowing that the candidate of your choice has strong beliefs in socialism. This will be an opportunistic move, if you just support Obama for your ideology of bringing socialism to America.

4. Obama has partly made his case to the public by showing the lure of socialism. A lot of masses do not understand the real impact of socialism. Ask someone who has spent his teens and youth under a socialistic rule.

5. Socialism while serves to redistribute wealth from rich to poor, it also discourages growth. In a socialistic society, most people are at par. Most major enterprises are government owned. Government run by the few dictate your life and continue to make choices for your.

Granted that is the most intense form of Socialism and that is perhaps not what is in your minds, but this is also a slippery fall. Once government gets the kind of power, once there is a fundamental amendment to our constitution, there is a possibility of its taking the more aggressive form, not now, may be in 30 years.

Worst of all it rewards incompetency.

When Colin Powell turns off his TV after the final presidential debate, he will have learned everything he is going to learn about the candidates vying to succeed his former boss, George W. Bush. Powell has made it clear that he has been thinking about an endorsement for a long time but wanted to hear more from the candidates before making his choice. It now seems beyond doubt that Colin Powell will endorse Barack Obama and thereby hammer the final nail in the coffin of the Republican campaign to hold onto the White House.

The recent ugliness of the McCain-Palin rally audiences cannot be lost on Colin Powell. And Powell is not one to ignore a 14 point lead in a New York Times poll. But most important for Powell and the press will be his explicit rejection of the Bush-McCain approach to Iraq, Iran and the rest of the world.

Powell's endorsement will be perfectly timed to dominate a news cycle or two. It will give Obama the one thing he still needs more of--credibility as Commander-In-Chief.

Questions needs to be objective and the answers need to respect the intent. Part of the fire is being fueled by mistrust of intentions of both sides.

This is a NY Times recent article on Oct 4, 2008 which is not impartial. The questions about association with Bill Ayers are being asked of Obama for a very long time. Obama has still not answered his complete association with Ayers. See, this is what causes further distrust.

Yes, Obama was 8 years old when Ayers conducted these Anti-American Acts. This is a disingenuous answer and is an attempt to ridicule rather than actually explain his relationship, part of which is given in this Article.

So, what is the real issue:

1. Why is Obama not forth right with his past associations? Right or wrong, good or bad, just come clean. Why is Obama not disclosing about hosting a joint fund raiser with Ayers? How about reading Ayers books and discussing Ayers position on teen's issues? These all did not happen in a month. There was an extended association, which is still being denied by Obama.

2. Why has Obama not disclosed his representation of ACORN? Just in the last few days Obama has made a partial disclosure about a joint federal initiative with ACORN. No mention or disclosure of his case on behalf of ACORN to sue Citibank for not issuing mortgages to lower credit ratings. Why hide? Why hide his efforts to train ACORN associates?

How has Obama handled this issue is, by saying that he has had no active relations with ACORN since 2002. This is again a bad explanation. Instead of explaining what he hasn't done, he should detail what all he actually did. We know Obama has concealed Citibank case here. (sued on June 06, 1994)

3. Same issue with Rev Wright. Yes, he denounced and finally renounced him. But when? When it became deterrent to his political progress, not before.

Knowing fully well that financial crisis was a result of CRA from 1977 and that Obama himself was part of this snowball as early as in 1994, that led to $1T worth of worthless loan issues, he still tried to put the blame on Bush. Yes strict supervision could have minimized the blow, but you know Dems had twice blocked the revamping of Freddie/Fannie. Why accuse Bush falsely then? Obama has positively lied here too.

There is a pattern of concealment and some definite proofs of lies by Obama.

Question now becomes, Why Lie? Why Conceal? How is it that almost all of his important associates had radical and Anti-American ideals? And how come Obama being so smart did not know any of these?

Obama has so vehemently made his case against Iraq war and has touted his Judgment. So where was this judgment, while he was dealing with radical ideologies. Oh yes, Obama did say that he did know know of their Radical views then.

Whose all? Ayers', Rev Wrights', Farakkhan's views, ACORN's agenda of exploiting CRA for those who never deserved loans in the first place. A practitioner of law did not know that personal dealing with his official client Tony was immoral.

This issue of $300k bribe would not have occurred, if only he had purchased the House through another dealer. He didn't because Obama stood to gain, obviously and he did. That time Obama never even dreamed of getting into politics, so ethics was not even an issue.

I know I am questioning Obama hard. But why shy away, if you did not do anything wrong?

That is the issue. Not that anyone claims Obama was a terrorist.

You want to be rational about it, answer it rationally. And, if you do not have an answer, as I don't, then join the efforts to find the answer. Let Obama camp enlighten us all. So far they haven't.
Twenty-six years later, at a lunchtime meeting about school reform in a Chicago skyscraper, Barack Obama met Mr. Ayers, by then an education professor. Their paths have crossed sporadically since then, at a coffee Mr. Ayers hosted for Mr. Obama’s first run for office, on the schools project and a charitable board, and in casual encounters as Hyde Park neighbors.

That project was part of a national school reform effort financed with $500 million from Walter H. Annenberg, the billionaire publisher and philanthropist and President Richard M. Nixon’s ambassador to the United Kingdom. Many cities applied for the Annenberg money, and Mr. Ayers joined two other local education activists to lead a broad, citywide effort that won nearly $50 million for Chicago.

Since 2002, there is little public evidence of their relationship.

So what is it cons? is Obama supposed to be a terrorist because of a casual and peripheral relationship? Are all the conservatives who also worked with him on the Annenberg board also terrorists by association? Is everyone who has had coffee with Ayers really a terrorist by association? No malice, no hatred, just the answers we all want to know. You want to know. Respect the intent and further the American cause. We should ask similar questions from McCain, these are for Obama:

1. How can America trust your judgment, when you decided to associate and collaborate with not one but multiple radicals -Rev Wright, Farrakhan, Ayers & Dohrn, ACORN?
2. Why did you continue to conceal your associations with these groups? Why did you not come clean about these people you collaborated with, when, why and for how long?
3. Why did you accept a private price for a prime housing property from your client Slum Lord Tony Rezko at a discount of $300,000 from the market price? Is it not a bribe?
4. You are promising 5,000,000 green jobs in next 4 years, how are you going to do it even when the technology is not there yet? Do you really mean the count of 5 million, or is it just a number for you, to get public support?
5. How can a business expand when you increase its cost of capital in higher taxes? Your policy will encourage a small business to stay small or you will tax them high. How will the jobs get produced?
6. Was your stance against Iraq war a judgment or an Ideology of pacifism?
7. Didn’t you say terrorism is a law enforcement issue? Didn’t you say 1994 WTC handling was correctly handled, we sued the terrorists? Were you able to prevent another attack by suing the terrorists?
8. Where was your judgment, when you sued Citibank on June 6, 1994 for issuing loans to less credit worthy under CRA, which lead to the financial crisis? Did you know, you started the snow ball?
9. Why do you call financial meltdown as Bush’s failed economic policies, when you knew you actively contributed to this, and when you knew that CRA was initiated 31 years ago?
10. Where was your protest when Barney Franc defended Freddie/Fannie in 2003? Why do you only see what is convenient to you.
11. Why did you not support McCain in his quest to reform Freddie/Fannie in 2005?
12. Why did you vote for your party, against your own joint bipartisan immigration bill with McCain?
13. When you sued Alice Palmer for incorrect signatures and got her denominated, was it morally right to sue one who encouraged you to take her place?
14. Where is your voice against ACORN voter registration fraud? Or your voice comes in only when it benefits you?
15. Where is your judgment for hiring ACORN and paying them $800,000 to register votes?
16. Why do you deceive people by equating deregulation to lack of regulation and its oversight? Deregulation is government non intervention and nonintervention does not mean lack of supervision.
17. How will you prevent companies from moving to India, China, and Ireland where corporate taxes are much lower?
18. Are you going to block imports from China that has been flooding our markets for the last 25 years
19. What will you do when the US companies become price uncompetitive due to increased taxes and lose foreign exports and then jobs?
20. What is the size of the largest group you have ever led and actively managed? And, for how long?
21. Isn’t it true that you made visits to India, Pakistan, Kenya, and Indonesia while you were a student at CA (UCLA?) where did you get the money to travel all these places?
22. Why is it so that you only selectively know and remember the facts that are beneficial to you and have a total ignorance of the one’s that are against your position?
a. you claim you did not know Ayer’s views
b. Farrakhan’s views
c. Rev Wrights views
d. ACORN’s agenda
e. Personal deal with your client Tony, is a conflict of interest, and is unprofessional
f. House you purchased was below the market price
23. How do you promote hard work and excellence when you are willing to reward lazy, by the tax money of one’s who worked hard?

And, there are some more for you.

Why doesn't Obama come clean instead of people digging out the past and then Obama making terse, dismissive statements?

Don't people have a right to know Obama's current as well as past views?

Why is quest for information viewed as an attack? If you are clear in your heart and intent and had disclosed these in advance or simply answered them, would there be any issues today?

Do you feel comfortable supporting a person who has a concealed past and is scared to open up?

Why do you think the list of questions for Obama keeps getting longer, and there are hardly any for McCain?

You have no reason to feel insulted or worried by these questions, if you supported Obama. Because armed with the clear answers you will only further Obama's cause. Have someone you know about Obama, collect answers to questions for Obama.

Yeah I get rank with you but always as a responce to the first insulting salvo you misfire.

A couple of points skippy.
1. We have never debated or argued a point yet. You bring something up. I or someone challenges it, you resort to the first refuge of a coward. Name calling. Then you twist the subject into a whole other direction. Case in point. Bill Ayers. I brought up the fact that Barry had his political debut in Bill's home. That is a fact, not some madeup millieu of Foxnews. A fact. It was to gear him up to replace Ms Palmer. After your usual barrage of evil conscum insults, you proceded to tell me it was a meet and greet and I know nothing of politics. Then you tore into that they sat on a board for the Annenbergs. One, I didn't bring up the board or the Annenbergs. The "meeting" was all I brought up. The type of meeting where checkbooks are welcomed. Do you think there was an AFSCME steward at that meeting?? The meet and greet. The one held in a mansion so all the common folk could come press the flesh??

No skippy, you have never won a thing. Neither have I. We are two blowhards using this forum for what it is, a place to exchange ideas. It's just some of us actually have our own ideas and can see two sides to an issue. Sadly you cannot. The larger sadness is that your type has permeated both parties.

By the way your , your brother is a much hotter piece of ass. | Hey folks this is stuff not from a website or a Foxnews junkie, but things out and about in the open. One person here will claim that it has all been answered and is merely a smear from an evil con. Well I am an evil con, but I have eyes and ears. Responding to a question and actually answering it are two different things.
Question 1? Did "the One" know that his political introduction was being made in the home of a radical? An unrepentent radical? The answers you get are he was 8 years old at the time. Did the radicals views on America change.
Question 2? Was he really unaware of his pastors rants against America? His pastor was his spiritual advisor for 20 years, yet he knew not of his leanings?
At his "historic" speech on race in Philadelphia, he said he could no more disavow his pastor as he could his white grandmother, in doing so throwing her under the bus. But when his pastor gave a speech in DC at the press club a few months later, Barry threw Jerry under the bus, backed it up and ran over him again. Let's draw a line here, in 20+ years , the radical could have changed but the pastor couldn't?? Even I can't find logic in that one.
Question 3? He was editor of the Harvard Law Review. When a Supreme Court nominee is vetted, all their college papers are poured over. Barry's are sealed. Anyone know why??
Question 4? He was a practicing attorney. Anyone ever had a chance to read a legal brief he wrote? A motion? Anything??
Question 5? He was a community organizer. Nothing wrong with that. Here in Detroit Bill Cunningham and Mother Wattles were community organizers. They're legacies still stand and serve the community. What were his accomplishments in S Chicago.
Question 5? He saw the finacial crisis looming two years ago. Did he introduce legislation to correct it? He wrote a letter. He railed against Countrywide until it was discovered the head of his vp selection committee was in bed with them.
Tip of the iceberg, easy to check, but you'll find no answers.
This will be viewed as hate speech. But on this site the other candidates wife's drug problem has been ridiculed. His first marriage picked apart. His so-called involvement with the Keating 5, which no criminal proceedings were brought against him. His killing of fellow sailors by misfirirng a missile. The fact he owns foreign cars, which by the way the only car he owns is Cadillac. His kids have cars that are foreign made. That he is senile and hot tempered. It seems the other side can throw whatever they want at someone who has lived a PUBLIC life that can researched, but if anyone dares the to question "The One" somehow they must be racist or hatefilled. | While at a rally at a local university, I overheard some young male voters encouraging their friends to vote Obama because McCain would restore "The Draft". Obama Expands Economic Plans
By JACKIE CALMES and JEFF ZELENY
TOLEDO — Senator Barack Obama on Monday expanded his economic platform, including proposals to spur new jobs, to give Americans penalty-free access to retirement savings to help them through the downturn, to urge a 90-day moratorium on home foreclosures and to lend money to strapped local and state governments.
“We need to give people the breathing room they need to get back on their feet,” Mr. Obama said in an afternoon speech here at the Sea Gate Convention Centre before a crowd of more than 3,000 people.
Mr. Obama called on Congress to double by another $25 billion the government loan guarantees for automakers and to temporarily eliminate taxes on unemployment benefits.
Campaign advisers said those steps and several others could be taken before January through current laws or by the Democratic-controlled Congress acting in a lame-duck session.
Mr. Obama outlined his revised plan in Toledo, a struggling city that is representative of the economic crisis and the battle for industrial-belt swing states that could determine the winner of the Nov. 4 election. He is spending three days in northwestern Ohio, sequestered with an advisers to prepare for the third presidential debate on Wednesday.
In a 30-minute address here, Mr. Obama also called on Americans to embrace a new “ethic of responsibility.” His speech was supplemented with visions of optimism, but conceded that tough times faced the nation in the coming months and years.
“I won’t pretend this will be easy,” Mr. Obama said. “George Bush has dug a deep hole for us. It’s going to take a while for us to dig our way out. We’re going to have to set priorities as never before.”
Senator John McCain, his Republican rival, also gave an economic speech in Virginia Beach, Va., with no new policy prescriptions, having rejected his advisers’ options over the weekend as too gimmicky, according to one Republican close to the campaign. He offered a glum sense of the nation’s economic outlook, bracing people for the challenges ahead.
“These are hard times, my friends,” Mr. McCain said. “Our economy is in crisis. Financial markets are collapsing. Credit is drying up. Your savings are in danger and your retirement is at risk. Jobs are disappearing.”
While the Obama campaign billed the speech here as a major economic address, about three-fourths of the proposals had already been announced. But the handful of new plans were intended to highlight how he would immediately help middle-class Americans — if not his own political standing by reassuring voters he is on top of the crisis.
“At a time when the ups and downs of the stock market have rarely been so unpredictable and dramatic,” Mr. Obama said, “we also need to give families and retirees more flexibility and security when it comes to their retirement savings.”
Mr. Obama reprimanded his audience when people started jeering at the mention of Mr. McCain’s name, declaring: “We don’t need that. We just need to vote.”
Mr. Obama praised Mr. McCain’s proposal to waive the rules that penalize retiree withdrawals from 401(k)’s, saying: “I want to give credit where credit is due.”
Before Mr. Obama spoke here, aides announced the highlights of his speech. They did so after word had spread on Sunday evening that Mr. McCain would not be presenting new economic proposals, as had been suggested by some aides.
The Obama campaign was attempting to maintain its hold on the economic message that has lifted the Democratic candidate in recent weeks.
“We have the advantage of sharing ideas that are consistent with the ideas we have shared before,” David Axelrod, the campaign’s chief strategist, said in an interview. New polls suggest mounting economic anxieties among voters are fueling Mr. Obama’s growing lead in many polls against Mr. McCain.
The main new proposals would:
— for the next two years, give businesses a $3,000 income-tax credit for each new full-time employee they hire above the number in their current workforce;
— allow savers with tax-favored Individual Retirement Accounts and 401(k)’s to withdraw 15 percent of those retirement savings, up to a maximum of $10,000, without paying a tax penalty as the law currently requires for withdrawals before age 59 and a half;
— bar financial institutions that take advantage of the Treasury’s rescue plan from foreclosing on the mortgages of any homeowners who are making “good-faith efforts” to make payments;
— direct the Treasury and the Federal Reserve to create a temporary facility for loans to state and local governments, similar to the Fed’s new arrangement to loan corporations money by buying their commercial paper, which are the I.O.U.s that help businesses with daily operating expenses like payrolls.
Tucker Bounds, a spokesman for Mr. McCain, criticized the Obama plan as one that would raise taxes on Americans, which he said would have “a devastating effect.”
“Interestingly, Barack Obama called a moratorium on foreclosures, which is a policy he had previously labeled disastrous when it was proposed by a political opponent,” Mr. Bounds said, referring to a plan proposed by Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton. “Proving yet again that Barack Obama’s positions on the issues are tied to elections, not solutions for the American people.”
During his remarks here, Mr. Obama gently scolded all Americans for “living beyond their means — from Wall Street to Washington to even some on Main Street.” His audience of supporters applauded as he said it was a moment in the nation’s history to pull together and sacrifice.
“We’ve lived through an era of easy money, in which we were allowed and even encouraged to spend without limits; to take out as many credit cards as possible, to take out as many credit cards as possible, to borrow instead of save,” Mr. Obama said. “Now, I know that in an age of declining wages and skyrocketing costs, for many folks this was not a choice but a necessity just to keep up, I understand that.”
“But we now know how dangerous that can be,” he continued. “Once we get past the present emergency, which requires immediate new investments, we have to break that cycle of debt. Our long-term future requires that we do what’s necessary to scale down our deficits, grow wages and encourage personal savings again.”

Obamanomics: How Bottom-Up Economic Prosperity Will Replace Trickle-Down Economics (Paperback)

Editorial Reviews
Product Description
Best-selling author John R. Talbott, widely regarded as one of the first to predict the current housing and mortgage crisis, turns his attention to the economic possibilities achievable under a Barack Obama presidency. Obama's greatest strength is his ability to bring the country together. For too long divisions among races, religions, political views, cultures, genders, and sexual preferences have prevented Americans from coming together to solve the most important problems of our generation. Global warming, lobbying reform, poverty, health care, wars, terrorism, education, housing and banking reform, and energy and water shortages-these are complex global problems that Talbott argues cannot be left to the free market business world or governments to solve.
Once emphasis is placed on citizen involvement, real solutions become apparent to our most pressing problems. A completely laissez-faire world of unregulated markets and uncontrolled globalization can be returned to a properly regulated free market that responds to the voice of a democratic people. And the American values of goodness, justice, and fairness to all Americans reflected in this young man of Africa and Kansas can once again be incorporated into our economic and financial system.
A former investment banker for Goldman Sachs, John R. Talbott is the author of four books on economics and politics, including The Coming Crash in the Housing Market. He has appeared on CNN, Fox News, CNBC, and CBS Marketwatch and has written for The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, and The Boston Globe.

No New Economic Proposal Expected From McCain
By JACKIE CALMES
WASHINGTON — Despite signals that Senator John McCain would have new prescriptions for the economic crisis after a weekend of meetings, his campaign said Sunday that Mr. McCain, the Republican presidential nominee, would not have any more proposals this week unless developments call for some.
The signs of internal confusion came as the campaign was under pressure from state party leaders to sharpen his message on the economy and at least blunt the advantage that Democrats traditionally have on the issue in hard times. Republicans have grown fretful as Senator Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential nominee, has edged ahead in polls three weeks before the election, while Mr. McCain has veered between ill-received economic plans and attacks on Mr. Obama’s character.
Mr. McCain took a break Sunday from filming campaign advertisements and practicing for a final debate with Mr. Obama on Wednesday to cheer volunteers at a phone bank near his Northern Virginia headquarters. Mr. McCain told them he planned to “whip his you-know-what in this debate.” The group erupted with laughter and applause.
On Saturday, his advisers were considering a range of economic ideas, one indicated. On Sunday, on the CBS News program “Face the Nation,” Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, a confidant of Mr. McCain, confirmed a report on Politico.com that Mr. McCain was weighing proposals to cut taxes on investors’ capital gains and dividends. “It will be a very comprehensive approach to jump-start the economy,” Mr. Graham said, “by allowing capital to be formed easier in America by lowering taxes.”
But McCain advisers later said they did not know why Mr. Graham said that. One noted that Mr. McCain’s economic plan already would cut capital gains and dividend tax rates, by extending President Bush’s 2003 tax cuts. At the phone bank, Mr. McCain declined to answer a question from a reporter about what he was considering.
“We do not have any immediate plans to announce any policy proposals outside of the proposals that John McCain has announced, and the certain proposals that would result as economic news continues to come our way,” said a campaign spokesman, Tucker Bounds. Mr. McCain’s policy adviser, Douglas Holtz-Eakin, said, “I have no comment on anything, to anybody.”
Rarely have presidential campaigns had to react so close to an election to so serious a crisis as the global economic panic. Both candidates are struggling to look like leaders, without impeding the efforts of those in charge. By nearly all accounts and in recent polls, Mr. Obama has received higher marks for projecting calm and consistency while Mr. McCain has been criticized as flailing.
“At this point I don’t think McCain can say anything on the economy that will sound credible,” said Bruce Bartlett, a former economic adviser to President Ronald Reagan and President George Bush.
Mr. McCain continued to draw criticism for his announcement last week that, as president, he would have the Treasury buy troubled mortgages at face value and give qualified homeowners instead government-guaranteed, low-interest mortgages based on their residences’ reduced value. After first saying lenders would pay the difference, the next day the McCain campaign said taxpayers would.
On the ABC News program “This Week” on Sunday, the second-ranking House Republican leader, Representative Roy Blunt of Missouri, suggested, as the Obama campaign has, that the McCain mortgage proposal was unnecessary because the concept was “essentially in several pieces of law already” and wrong to leave taxpayers with the cost.
“Somebody needs to take the loss here, and it needs to be the person that had the bad judgment of making that loan, of buying those poorly put-together mortgage-backed securities,” Mr. Blunt said. “It shouldn’t be loss borne by the taxpayer.”
Both Mr. McCain and Mr. Obama plan speeches Monday on the economy. Mr. Obama, at a rally in Toledo, Ohio, will suggest ways to build on the government’s plan to inject capital into banks to ease the credit crisis, an adviser said.
Mr. McCain will be in North Carolina and Virginia, states that Republicans can normally count on but where Mr. Obama is showing strength. In his visit with volunteers on Sunday, Mr. McCain acknowledged that “the economy has hurt us a little bit in the last week or two” and that he was “a couple points down” in national polls.
But he said he would rebound because voters “want knowledge and they want vision.”

Associated Press - October 9, 2008 8:55 PM ET TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - A charity that the Treasury Department linked to the militant Islamic group Hamas has filed a lawsuit demanding that federal officials lift a 2-year freeze of its assets. attorneys for Toledo-based Kindhearts for Charitable Humanitarian Development says the government hasn’t given a reason why it was targeted, and has given it no chance to defend itself. The charity has filed suit in U.S. District Court in Toledo. The ACLU is joining in the suit.

The Treasury Department in 2006 ordered U.S. banks to freeze the charity’s assets, saying it was funneling money to Hamas, which the United States considers a terrorist organization. KindHearts officials have denied being connected to any terrorist group.

The charity was shut down in 2006 two days before three men from Toledo were accused of plotting to kill American and allied soldiers overseas. Documents seized by federal agents suggested that 2 of the three Muslim men—who were later convicted—may have had ties to Kindhearts. KindHearts leaders have said it is a nonprofit charitable organization administering humanitarian aid. It estimated the group provided $5 million to $6 million annually in charity assistance.

I figured this would be the kind of association Obama would like so I googled “KindHearts and Obama”, and sure enough:

Two years ago, Hatem El-Hady was the chairman of the Toledo, Ohio-based Islamic charity, Kindhearts, which was closed by the US government in February 2006 for terrorist fundraising and all its assets frozen. Today, El-Hady has redirected his fundraising efforts for his newest cause - Barack Obama for President. El-Hady has his own DEDICATED PAGE ON BARACK OBAMA’S OFFICIAL WEBSITE, chronicling his fundraising on behalf of the Democratic Party presidential candidate (his Obama profile established on February 19, 2008 - two years to the day after Kindhearts was raided by the feds). Not only that, but he has none other than Barack Obama’s wife, Michelle Obama, listed as one of his friends (one of her 224 listed friends).

But his leadership of Kindhearts is not the only thing that has brought him scrutiny by federal law enforcement officials. Last summer, El-Hady was questioned by the FBI concerning his knowledge of possible conspirators in a UK-based terror plot.

16 July 2007: The Northeast Intelligence Network was first to confirm during the June 30, 2007 edition of the Homeland Security Report that last month’s failed London car bomb plot had its tentacles reaching far into the United States. Now, NBC24, a television station in Toledo, Ohio is reporting that the FBI has questioned a Muslim doctor who recently moved to Toledo from the UK. Toledo also happens to be the corporate home of KindHearts for Charitable Humanitarian Development, an Islamic charity chaired by Hatem El-HADY, a Toledo physician, and a charity that has been the subject of an investigation for its reported ties to terror organizations. | What part of mars did you grow up on?? I think someone played John a tape of Jennifer's "you ain't seen nothin yet" and he saw the writing on the wall. Then he got wind of the mayor of the state's largest city pleading guilty to a felony then being allowed to stay on the job for few more weeks. Yeah, Michigan was never in play, but the McCain camp waited until Barry committed to lots of airtime(nonrefundable) before pulling the plug. Afterall, Jennifer ran on the promise of all jobs she was going to bring here, her cool cities and the rebound just around the corner. But fear not, There is still an October suprise, and it make this closer than you're being lead to believe.. | Bush has the worst approval rating in all American history.

A fact based question you just ignore, or you bring up Craig, Keating 5, etc etc. You are a broken record. You have no real knowledge of the political process, just your talking point sheets. You think the election is over, fine, move on to educating us about global warming. Ahh but wait your talking point sheets tell you to keep plugging away. Because you have your polls, your glorious polls. Here's where I tell you not to buy the balloons just yet. Have you ever been polled? Has anyone on this board been polled? Some will say yes, but I doubt it. See, anyone with half a brain avoids telemarketing calls. And hey guess what?? That's what a poll consists of. A phone bank of people making random calls. Now, most people have at least an answering machine to screen those calls. The smart folk don't even have landlines anymore. So who does that leave?? A person so desperate for human contact that they will answer the phone and talk to anyone. And who are they talking to? An underpaid lower class person who can't recognize the pictures on the clown's cash register. I know I've knocked your two jobs but ces la vie. Now, stick with me skippy, the person answering the phone of course will say they are a registered voter, just to keep the call going, and since their stories and Springer are on the local channels, they do what the nice man on the picture box tells them.

Oh by the way, you still haven't responded to Barry's having his political intro the terrorists home. Why, because your talking point sheet doesn't tell how to respond. Instead bring up the Annenberg Foundation again. But when bringing it up AGAIN, tell us what Barry an Bill did with the 50 million. How were the "children" empowered. Again, you can't. Time goes on, memory's fade and a new generation of voters have to experience it first hand. After 4 years you'll be more than happy to bid Obama a "bon voyage" and "happy trails spaz". Never thought I'd have to live through it twice, but it looks as if the media has herded the sheeple in for a fleeceing and off to slaughter. On another note, did ya ever wonder why McCain gave up on michigan? He looked at the last governors election and concluded the following. Here's a state entering into's it 5th straight year in a one state reccession, you have an incumbant with a 4 year track record of proven failure. And her opponent, a business man with a lifetime record of proven success. The democrats in michigan re-elect the proven failure, the first thing she does after being re-elected?.... Raise taxes. McCain figured any state as stupid as michigan deserves whatever is happening to it, and he was'nt gonna waste his money on complete moron's. | DO you see any polls that McCain is winning?

Among the other board members who served with Obama were: Stanley Ikenberry, former president of the University of Illinois; Arnold Weber, former president of Northwestern University and assistant secretary of labor in the Nixon administration; Scott Smith, then publisher of the Chicago Tribune; venture capitalist Edward Bottum; John McCarter, president of the Field Museum; Patricia Albjerg Graham, former dean of the Harvard University Graduate School of Journalism, and a host of other mainstream folks.
