The expanding exploration of natural gas has created a need for Production Engineers to oversee the operations areas. There are currently 3 positions available and you may apply for the location that best suits your interest geographically. The positions in Oklahoma and Alaska would require company covered relocation to those areas; however the West Africa opportunity is a rotational position (28 on/28 off) and would not require relocation. There are extra incentives to take on the rotational assignment which I can go into more detail about when we talk. There is a annual bonus target of 0-30% and has averaged approximately 15% over the past few years. Below is the position description and requirements.

This Production Engineering position will provide hands-on engineering support for the operations area. Effective teamwork is required by the engineer as information is gathered and communicated between field operators, other team members and the SCADA data collection system. Due to current and projected high activity level in this area, the candidate must be highly motivated and willing to independently develop his/her own projects utilizing multiple resources. A mentor will be provided to facilitate an aggressive learning curve. Areas of opportunity to target will include downhole corrosion prevention, artificial lift optimization, surface facility expansion, chemical optimization, compression, and automation utilization. This position will require a rotating training schedule among various regional oil fields which will last approximately 2-3 months. Promote safety and environmental stewardship through personal awareness, interactions, and observations. Help support a strong safety culture. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures and plans along with federal, state and local regulations. Help attain production goals by analyzing well data and formulating recommendations to economically optimize rates and minimize well downtime. Participate in frequent peer reviews with field operators, engineers and production supervisors to share ideas and generate solutions.
