Qualifications: Strong Managerial Skills are a must. <br> Be a licensed (in the State of Texas) paramedic with at least one year experience in emergency medicine; or a licensed (in the State of Texas) Registered Nurse (RN) with at least one year of emergency medicine service. <br> <br> Have at least one years experience in research project management to include investigation support, general project management, logistical and fiscal management, protocol development, and grant writing. <br> <br> Be able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate with patients, other health care providers, and staff. <br> <br> Be a U.S. citizen (copy of birth certificate or naturalization papers required). Legal aliens who possess a green card, who are in compliance with U.S. Immigration Laws, and who meet the qualifications required herein, may perform under this contract. <br> <br> Ensure compliance with Clinical Investigation requirements. <br> <br> Description of Duties: <br> Assist in the development of all study related documentation to included: protocol revision, literature reviews, progress reviews, presentation, and other technical writing. <br> <br> Conduct field studies of pre-hospital airway management in context of pre-hospital scenarios. This will include transporting subject and simulators in the back of a moving modified HUMV ambulance. <br> <br> Develop future grant support for this and other related combat casualty care projects. <br> <br> Adhere to protocol schedule, data collection, and management needed to reevaluate program plan and specific concerns. <br> <br> Interact with the Principal Investigator, Associate Investigator, and Department of Clinical Investigation to ensure study compliance, obtain information, provide guidance on study intervention, and to address issues. <br> <br> Function as the liaison between Research Case Managers, Program Manager, Principal Investigator, Associate Investigator, and other affiliated study personnel. <br> Strong managerial skills are a must.
