Low budget, but going for high quality. Seeking to hire an experienced professional camera operator for a live audio video recording of me doing exercises on the beach. I will need you to provide Sony HiDef cameras (preferably 2) and related equipment, light diffuser, bounce board, body mic etc. Plus, will need an assistant 2nd camera operator who could also help with making the lighting just right. This ia simple, very low budget indie project. I'd like to find someone who has the expertise and the equipment needed to make it look professional and very beautiful. I'm an indie filmmaker specialising in inspirational subjects visiting from England doing research and interviews for an as yet unfunded documentary about the ancient lost civilisation that was supposed to be in Hawaii and the South Pacific that was said to be paradise on earth. At the moment I'm interviewing native oral tradition story holders from societies that talk of this ancient kingdom and so far have interviewed a Guatemalan Mayan High Priest and a Hawaiian Kahuna on Oahu. I now have several more Kahuna to interview on the Big Island - Volcano, Kona and Waimea areas. I'm travelling alone so am looking for someone who'd like to assist me with interviews. In return I can teach you about independent/low to no budget filmmaking. I don't drive so it would be great if that person had a car to get around and I can pay gas. This would suit someone who wants experience in film, eg a film student or budding filmmaker, or someone who's interested in the subject matter as you'd be given access to information and stories not usually shared with outsiders.
