<![CDATA[U.S.-based, Nationally-distributed Music Book Publisher is seeking bands- unsigned or otherwise- who grew up on and were musically influenced by alt-rock/grunge legends Alice in Chains for inclusion on a Bonus Music Sampler that will be included with a book on the band being released in 2009. This is NOT a Tribute compilation, so in other words, we are not seeking COVERS of Alice in Chains tunes, but rather are featuring ORIGINAL ROCK/METAL bands on the sampler who sound derivatively alike or similar to the AIC’s songwriting in some manner (be it songwriting, vocal range, riffs, etc) performing an ORIGINAL song on the compilation. The sampler will be sold with each copy of the book, and each participating band will receive promos, as well as mention in all press materials, and the opportunity to be part of the first and only book of this sort on the band.
