<![CDATA[This is a training position on a working Permaculture organic farm / horse ranch in Waimanalo on Oahu. If you camp out (we provide raised wood platform, awing rain cover $200 shared kitchen and bathrooms (hot showers), private cabins, $500, some with private kitchens. We are a USDA Certifed Farm. We have normal organic, Aquponic organic and more. We start with a short class every morning promply at 8am. If you miss class and not ready to start the day at 8am, you will be sent away. No slackers. We feed horses, goats, ducks, chickens over a hundred farm animals tend the organic veggie garden, tend the Taro fields and clear forest paths of fallen limbs from the night before. By 10 am we shift to a group project of building animal cages, nesting boxes, bee hives, painting or maintaining the farm structures. We have private rooms with queen size beds. If a couple, it is $100 more for the second person. both people must participate in farm program, no tag along boyfriends or girlfriends who are not participanting. We get together at 5pm and do the evening feeding (15-20 minutes). The lead person is paid $10 towards rent, others volunteer. We are strickly a non-smoking ranch and no drugs.
