He wants a girlfriend, I can't get him one so...a friend for now will do. He is a handsome young man, with a heart of gold that has been dealt a very painful life, and all he asks is for some human contact besides me, his mother. He lives w/me. He goes to our condo pool and jacuzzi, usually in the late evening/night, (only after I peek to make sure there's no people there, due to his anxiety), as he sleeps all day as his sleep schedule is opposite of ours...he loves to play Playstation and super Nintendo but only Street Fighter. Brother, that comes once/week, would take him off roading, and on trips in the Zodiac boat that we own.

HAS, located on Oahu, is a place where animals get a new lease on life. Every animal brought to us has a chance to live out its life in a caring environment.
Evolving as an animal refuge since 1990, the one-acre sanctuary is now the home to several hundred cats, a number of dogs, rabbits and other creatures. No-kill and re-homing policies are practiced. All animals are spayed and neutered in an effort to prevent further pet overpopulation in Hawaii.

HAS volunteers provide nourishment, accommodation, medical

care and exercise, as well as loving attention to our animal family. Responsible animal ownership is promoted, and as many animals as possible are adopted to loving homes with the promise that the animals are returned to the sanctuary if the new owners are unable to care for them.

HAS is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. We depend on monetary donations to keep the sanctuary operating efficiently, as well as contributions of food, medicine, and numerous other supplies that ensure the animals= well being, happiness, and overall quality of life. WE NEED SERIOUS VOLUNTEERS - PLEASE DONATE $1.00 TO FAMILIES IN DISTRESS!!!

Aloha!

My husband was a resident on the Island of Oahu and was a Professional Singer/Songwriter there for 22 years prior to our getting married 2 years ago. Then he retired from his career and relocated here to Atlanta, Georgia to help me with my business as a Preforeclosure Specialist. I have worked in this capacity, as a Licensed Realtor, for over 12 years now but this is the worse year that i have seen in my career. As a result, I am making a plea for volunteers to help out families in distress who are facing imminent foreclosure by making a minimum donation of $1.00 or more.

I have families that are about to become homeless, sleeping on the floor because they had to sell their furniture to eat/survive, utility gas turned off and have to use heaters to heat their homes for them and their children, unemployed and need temporary help until their food stamps, unemployment, disability checks come. Some families did not have a Christmas this year (no Traditional Christmas Dinner, No Christmas Tree and No Gifts) but they never complained about it. They were just happy to have a roof over their heads and not be homeless out in the streets with their children.

My ultimate goal and objective is to start a non-profit organization to help me with this project. However, that process may take some time to develop and implement. The families that i help are in critical need of assistance imminently which is why i have this ad on craigslist.

All she asked for was christmas cards for her children to open and read on Christmas day.
Well even this apparently was a "SCAM" because I e-mailed them twicw and my wife and I sent Christmas cards the entire family and even a special card to little 8 year old Kerry Ann .

I know that they got them because since time was growing short , I sent them out express , so I know they got them .

I have called them twice and left messages and no call backs , I have e-mailed them at least 6 times since and no e-mails back .

Apparently we have fallen prey to another type of scam where families are using their children to run scams. It was not the cost involved in sending them , but you would think I would get a call or an e-mail letting me know that they got them , or a thank you ? BUT NOTHING !!
I won't let this happen to us again , but we felt bad for the children , as we have children and grand children of our own .

Ideally you would be able to commit to a two-year program of running classes that help people who are recovering from cancer or other medical conditions.

Julie Davey, who is a two-time breast cancer survivor, started Writing for Wellness classes to give something back to the community that helped her heal (City of Hope in Los Angeles). Because it has been so helpful, we are expanding the program to other areas of the country.

Writing for Wellness classes show people who have had cancer or other serious physical problems how to write about their journey of recovery. More than just journaling, the designated topic for each class helps the participants focus on a specific aspect of their situation. Classes deal with anger and sorrow, but they also deal with friendships and laughter, hope and giving back to others.

If the two-year commitment is too much, we still would appreciate it if you would join us to hear Julie Davey discuss teaching the classes. Even leading one set of sessions (once a week for five weeks) will help. You can get class information from Dawn Craft at Dawn@IdyllArbor.com or 360-825-7797.

Because scams are such a big part of Internet life, we’d like to make this clear: No purchases are required. No payments are required. There is a book about Writing for Wellness, but you are not required to purchase a copy to lead the classes. Students in the classes are not required to purchase the book either. We hope you will decide to buy a book to help us continue our efforts, but the important thing is to spread the concept of Writing for Wellness.

For more information, please see the website www.WritingForWellness.net or contact Dawn Craft at Dawn@IdyllArbor.com.

Thank you for your help,
