<![CDATA[Job Opening: Regional Sales Director Gulf of Mexico <br> June 2010 <br> <br> We are looking for an experienced regional sales representative with proven history of selling technical products/services into Gulf States Oil & Gas onshore/offshore rig owners, producers, and support vendors. <br> <br> We are a fast growing Seattle-based engineering and manufacturing firm that has been developing instrumentation products for international niche markets for over two decades. We are now looking for a goal driven regional sales representative for our Oil & Gas product line. Our products (which primarily include force transducers, load pins, and instrumentation for winch and wire rope monitoring) are integrated into a wide range of marine and construction applications all over the world. Sales range from $5,000 to $150,000 per project. <br> <br> We seek an individual with the tenacity and the patience to achieve sales goals in a market with long sales cycles, and with the people skills to be a great team member and to successfully nurture key client relationships. The new regional sales representative must be a quick study and have a solid understanding of technical sales and industrial sensors. <br> <br> In the last 18 months we have sold into Transocean, Frontier, NPCC, and many other O&G support vendors. Were not starting from scratch and we expect that you wont be either. <br> <br> Required for consideration: <br> <br> 1. An extensive list of current customers/contacts in the Oil & Gas sector, including electrical engineering, electrical maintenance and offshore engineering positions. <br> <br> 2. Two years of sales experience in the gulf. <br> <br> 3. Current customer contacts who are willing to be references for you. <br> <br> Job responsibilities will include: <br> <br> Maintaining high quality relationships with our current customer base. <br> Growing sales with new customers and existing and related markets. <br> Working with the management team to develop detailed monthly targets, quarterly and annual sales goals. <br> Using Prophet Sales CRM software to log and track all sales activities, calendarize sales and marketing tasks, maintain contact database, and produce pipeline reports. <br> Manage, enhance and expand our existing sales partner network and OEM accounts. <br> Conduct direct sales efforts via phone, e-mail, meetings, etc. with prospects and gate-keepers. Direct sales efforts will include traveling to meet with specific clients, prospects, and strategic partners. <br> Manage and attend all relevant industry trade shows, approximately 4 per year. <br> Provide responses, with support of the technical staff, to requests for quotations and proposals. <br> Develop detailed knowledge of the company's products or services. <br> Provide annual SWOT analysis that will focus strategy to the highest sustainable value. <br> Develop understanding of competitors products. <br> <br> Required Qualifications: <br> <br> Excellent team player with good communication skills. <br> Flexibility; this is a small company and we all wear multiple hats.
