<![CDATA[Found 2 Black Labs! I ended up locating the owner of these beautiful boys and I am assisting in re-homing them. I've had them since 03.01.10, but have not found a suitable taker. These boys arre both intact, and FULL of energy!! They are ready to go their forever homes. I REFUSE to take them to a shelter. MY DILEMMA!!! I have a pool in my backyard, and these boys have fallen in twice. Thank God I was here and was able to help them get out. I've tried to teach them how to swim to the side, but they panic when they are in the water and I just have to drag them over to the steps. This scares me to death! I'm not sure what would have happened if I hadn't been here. AND, it's too cold for me to get in and work with them! I'm not in a position to take on two (2) large dogs or I would, trust me! Little Chevy could be anywhere down Cypresswood by now -possibly headed towards Aldine Westfield. Other subdivisions may be Forest Point or Breckenridge Forest - both are west of BirnamWood and Villages of Spring Oaks. Signs have been hung with contact info - some signs have a picture others are just paper plates. More signs will be hung later. <![CDATA[Missing as of 3/12 - male Lhasa Apso / Shih Tzu. He is basically white but does have some grey coloring also. I live in BirnamWood which is located in Spring off Cypresswood between Treaschwig and Aldine Westfield (zip is 77373). Little Chevy was staying with a friend in a section of BirnamWood called Villages of Spring Oaks. She was supposed to keep him inside but gave him access to a doggie and the backyard. She left for work at 4 am on 3/12 and when she returned at 2 pm on 3/12 he was gone. Please please help me find him!! He is the sweetest most mellow little guy! We learned yesterday evening (3/12) about 5 pm that he had been sighted the afternoon of 3/12 between maybe 2-4 pm in the Forest Point subdivision which is west on Cypresswood from BirnamWood. And just this evening (3/13) I received a call saying he had been spotted near Lestergate and Misty Gate about 10 am on the morning of 3/12 which is a newer part of BirnamWood. Please - I need everyone's help on this!!! His hair was long and in his face but may have been trimmed up since then. I am very disappointed that the person caring for him allowed him access to the backyard while she was at work. I never allow allow my dogs to remain in my yard unsupervised when I am not at home and since she said she would leave him in her house, it never dawned on me she would open the doggie door!! Please help!! He could still be around the BirnamWood, Villages of Spring Oaks and Forest Cove area. Or he could have headed further west on Cypresswood toward the Breckenridge Forest subdivision. There are bayous in the area and he could be traveling in these areas. And he may have traveled further west down Cypresswood towards Aldine Westfield. I fear he may have headed into the woods somewhere and could end up pretty much anywhere. If you see him, he is very friendly and can be taken inside to be safe so that you can contact me. <![CDATA[I found my baby Josie yesterday. A "Creepy" man dropped her off at my lofts. He said he found her outside my lofts, which i knew was not true bc i watched the security cameras and saw that Josie never left the parking garage, so he had to steal her from the parking garage. He said he was friends with a guy that lived in my loft. I asked him didnt your friend get the first flyer that i posted on EVERY door in the lofts. He said no. That first flyer only had "Big reward" on it. The night before he dropped my lost dog off, i printed 500 new flyers that said $1000.00 reward and posted them all up and down westimer and richmond. Well, this is when he decided to bring her back bc the reward. I gave him half of the reward because i was so happy he brought my baby back, but still mad that he stole her. He said he had 9 dogs and 10 cats. I wonder how many other stolen animals he has?? He said he picked her up and took her to katy where he resides. Josie was so tired and worn out. You can tell that she was sooo stressed out. She hasnt left my side. She wants to cuddle on me 24/7. Im so happy she is back. <![CDATA[Lost Yorkie in the Heights area!!! I am posting this again. I have been searching as much as I can but still have not found her. Fergie is a female yorkie, brown & tan and weighs about 4 lbs. I have posted this on every website possible and gone by the SPCA, CAPS & BARC. My friends and I have also posted over 500 signs in the Heights area for it just to rain last night, all day today and supposed to rain tomorrow. I did receive a call on Sunday from a girl telling me a guy brought her into Buchanan’s Nursery on 11th. He walked in asking if she belonged to anybody. She said he was a taller gentleman, maybe between the ages of 25-30 and said he found her walking on the street. A customer told him to Doug’s Barber down the road because the owner knows a lot of people. I have checked with Doug’s Barber Shop and the guy with my little dog never checked with him. <![CDATA[Sabrina is still missing after 2 weeks and no one has seen her. Sabrina was rescued from a puppy mill in Montgomery County by Basset Buddies Rescue of Texas and was staying in foster care. She was living in deplorable conditions and had no contact with humans other than to have her puppies taken from her. She is terrified of everything, lights, noises and people. She bolted from her foster parents yard on February 24, when she was spooked by something. Fliers and pictures went up and no one has reported seeing her. Her foster parents live off of Grant Road in the Lakewood Forest Subdivision, between Jones Road and Eldridge Parkway.By now she could be miles from here or she could still be in the area. She was last seen wearing a pink collar and hot pink harness. Sabrina is a 3 year old, tri-color basset that was recently spayed. She is mainly black and white but has some brown on her face. Please, if anyone has seen her we are desperate to get her back, her foster parents miss her terribly and they are sick that no one has reported seeing her and are worried that something might have happened to her.
