<![CDATA[I'm relatively normal, only smoke crank a couple of days a week now, down from every day. Mom get's mad when I smoke in the house, she says it's not good for the cats. My crap is pretty much together, I guess you could say that my ducks are almost in a row. I have a car, it's really my sisters, but I can use it whenever I need it. She lives with me too and has a great job, she's the back door receiver at HEB. Don't worry, she's not going to live with me much longer. I bet a good bar with 50 cent drafts all the time would make enough money so that I could rent a nice apartment for my mom and my sister. I look pretty good. Mom just cut my hair. She mostly does nails and stuff, but her friend taught her how to cut hair so she does mine every few months. Hey, if you need a perm or you need your nails done I can let her know. I have not posted a personal ad on CL for fear of the various types of unwanted responses that I might receive, but I have met a few very nice gentlemen by responding to ads they had posted. <![CDATA[I was a little younger than you, when I sat a lonely beach planning how to finish it all. Parents who didn't want to see me, my then husband who verbally and physically abused me, no friends and no one to relate to. On the Radio was a song by Queen, "I want to break free", it was the turning point for me. After being gradually brought down for 2 years by others around me, that was the answer. I wanted to break free, I wrote down a wish list for me, not the suicide note that I had planned. 1, Get out of the bad situation - I got a divorce, after all I had not signed on to be abused. 2, Find some place to live - I rented a room with a family,so that I would not be alone 3, Education - thing that would be of interest, this also gave me access to new friends. I am now 44, life has had it ups and down, some of which have brought me to my knees. I do have great kids and although I am a single parent again. This is my life and I have so much more to do with it. There is only one blight on it, that of a very good friend of mine who did commit suicide. I saw him the day he died, we did not speak to each other. I have everything he wanted, a family who loved him. I think about him nearly everyday, sometimes the thoughts still brings me to tears. As for my parents, they were having their own crisis, although this is a poor excuse - it is valid. It took years to overcome the pain caused on both sides, but they are there for me and have been for many years. I am there for them too. My mantra is NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO MAKE ME FEEL BAD. This covers family and friends. Although I did not use outside help, there is help out there. All you have to do is ask. I found just the slight change in my attitude and new friends helped me, after all, I am still here. ]]>

But what about the actual friendship of two people, prior to jumping in bed? As an old fashion guy, with morals and values I find myself amazed at some of the ads, along with the photos attached asking for sexual gratification. Is it that these people are not grown up enough to find meaningful, adult relationships, that eventually lead to a greater, deeper understanding of one another, so that when the time is right, sex turns into something more? That's my theory anyhow and I'm sticking to it. It is proving very difficult to find a place I can afford on my own..and since the wrotten ex husband allowed my car to be repoed that is causing alot of stress as well. I do have a good job but only work 3 days a week...about 30 hours...I must relocate soon as my stay here will be up end of month as will be my use of the extra vehicle which gets me to work.
