These come from a small office, we have no IT guy so if one goes out we typically just buy another instead of trying to fix it (I know, seems rather wasteful). Here's what I have... Compaq Tablet PC TC1100 (power light comes on but does not power up, screen looks nice....when this was working it was a really neat computer, has Windows XP, no disc) HP NX6110 (power light comes on but it does not power up, computer is physically in very nice shape, no disc, I actually thought about fixing this one but we got a good deal through Dell and decided to just get rid of em all) The next 4 are Micronpc TransPort GX2 1) No battery, does not power up, seems the power button is kinda out of whack 2) No battery, also does not power up and the power button is jacked up (just like the previously mentioned one) 3) This one is complete. Kinda odd because this laptop looks brand new. It's like we bought it new and it immediatly quit working so we shelved it. I hit the power button and I can hear it powering up but the screen shows nothing 4) This last one actually works, powers up fine, good screen, etc. However.....I have no password to it and my administrator password doesn't work on it. I have (1) power cord that works between the Compaq and HP. I have (3) cords for the Micronpc's. The Micronpc's also have all the software (driver discs, etc) There is also a Dell disc drive and a couple extra laptop power cords not in the pic. I thought maybe whoever buys this stuff may have a use for it. We're cleaning out our storage area at the office and this stuff needs to go. <![CDATA[I have an Asus EEE 900HD netbook and various compuer parts for sale. EEE 900HD has an 8.9" widescreen display and webcam. It runs 1 GB DDR2 and has a 160GB HDD. The processor is an Intel Atom 900 Mhz. It also has wireless b/g and an ethernet connection. The battery life is about 3 hours. This unit is great for web surfing and e-mail. It has Windows XP and the original recovery discs. Perfect for a child or someone who needs to check e-mail frequently with an ultra light pc (approx 3 pounds). I also have the original box and power cable. The notebook sustained some cola on the keyboard which will need to be replaced (a search on froogle/ebay show a new keyboard is $20). The unit has minor physical flaws (missing clear cover over webcam, minor scratches) and has barely been used. Price is $100. Works fine with usb keyboard. 6 GB DDR2 desktop memory - 2x 2GB 667 Mhz and 2x 1GB 667 Mhz . Also have 1x 2GB Kingston 800 Mhz. Memory is untested, but should be fine. $80 for all. <![CDATA[There's a great big hole in Apple's product line between the no-frills Mac Mini and the more expensive iMac. It's anybody's guess as to why they won't fill that hole, but if they won't, curious users will. This is one of those computers. It started off as a Dell (it's technically still a Dell, I guess) and is now running the latest Mac OS 10.6.2 operating system like it doesn't know it has the wrong logo on the outside. 3 GHz Core 2 Duo E6850 - faster than a Mini, slower than an iMac 4 GB memory (two slots still open) - more than a Mini, same as an iMac 320 GB SATA hard drive - same as or more than a Mini, less than an iMac DVD±RW drive - faster than a Mini or an iMac GeForce 8600GTS video card - faster than a Mini, slower than an iMac Wireless keyboard and mouse - a Mini has neither, an iMac has a wired set If you need a display, I'll throw in my 19" LCD for $70. FYI, though, Dell has their 21.5" on sale for $139 through the 22nd. How is this computer better than a Real Mac? Everything is upgradeable using standard desktop components, while Real Macs tend to have minimal upgrade options (with the exception of the Mac Pro, which starts at $2499). It's also way easier to get into to make those upgrades. In addition, some Real Macs are built with lower-power (in both senses of the word) laptop components, which are more expensive and less capable than desktop parts. This computer has front USB, audio, and multiformat card reader, which are not present on Real Macs. How is a Real Mac better than this computer? Real Macs come with 802.11n wireless instead of this computer's 802.11g. Real Macs have nifty combined digital SPDIF audio in and out, while this one just has normal speaker and microphone jacks. Real Macs are also generally considered cooler-looking. It's easier (and kosher!) to install Mac OS on a Real Mac. The iMac comes with a large built-in monitor.]]>
