CNAFR N43 Technical Analysis Support at Depot Maintenance Facilities

1. Liaison between CNAFR, NAVAIR and depot repair facilities concerning cognizant areas of depot level maintenance, In-Service Repair (ISR), Phased Depot Maintenance (PDM), Integrated Maintenance Program (IMP), Planning and Estimating (P&E), and special rework.

2. Provide surveillance on contractor application of the CNAFR Statement of Work and NAVAIR Phased Depot Maintenance specifications on assigned type/model/series aircraft.

3. Coordinate aircraft induction and delivery. Review the maintenance history and ensure all required work was performed.

4. Review all over and above documents presented by the depot repair facility and make a determination to either Work, No-Work or put on the Noted But Not Corrected list.

5. Make recommendations to CNAFR on all non-routine depot maintenance actions. Review discrepancies found that are not covered by routine depot maintenance actions and evaluate reasonableness of hours estimated to repair.

7. Develop and distribute a weekly aircraft status report for all assigned depot aircraft.

8. Monitor depot direct costs and labor estimates ensuring they are within budget and charged to the correct Contract Line Item.

9. Attend monthly logistics meetings with DCMA; monitor Contract Delivery Dates and Turn-Around-Times; and assist resolving current and forecast issues. Identify risk areas at depot site that affect program cost, schedule and performance.
