Now there's a Meal-Of-Rock you can really sink your teeth into! Better hold on to your hats for this one! <a rel="nofollow">NEW - Alien Warrior</a> - (c) 2010 For you metalheads and rockers out there, this one is written with heavy electric guitars only in Drop-C tuning, complete with strange vocalizations from my alien friend who agreed to share his galactic war stories with you. So I spared no expense in visiting his planet to capture the sounds of unworldly space ships, interstellar shoot-outs, and other alien chatter (different synth guitar effects), so his galactic war story will be brought to life and understood by you all, since you probably don't speak alien-eze... So is that a sick enough concept for you lovers of anything rock or metal? I broke the guitars into multiple tracks using a variety of different metal guitar sounds and guitar synth effects. The song is middle-of-the-road straight metal/rock and features big metal virtual drums, bass guitar, plus EIGHT different electric guitar tracks for rhythm, melody, harmony, lead and effects coming at you in all directions. Enjoy it best through your headphones, for sure! <a rel="nofollow">You Are The One</a> - (c) 2010 This song features a mix of clean and dirty electric guitars with some mild leads. Simple theme, not too heavy, not too light, it's a middle-of-the-road piece suitable for a female vocal or as an instrumental. No, it's not straight speed-metal for you mega-metalheads out there, and it's not straight-up blues either, but I play and teach all forms of rock and blues all of the time, and I think you can tell from this sample. I chose this one for you blues and/or rocker people to hear because it combines some electric shred and blues guitar licks together in the lead guitar track. Does your teacher have a formal musical education?Do they have years of professional playing experience. Can they teach you proper technique? Can they teach you theory, ear training, song writing? Can they actually play the songs and techniques you want to learn, or are they just a little better than you average Joe guitar player? The problem with most musical instruction is that the teachers are not at an "expert" level. They simply know a little more than the student or more specifically, the parent of the student.
