I specialize in developing tonal recognition, proper pronunciation and pitch training in children and young adults (6-26) and am capable of training for styles as far reaching as R&B, Hip-hop, Heavy Metal, Rock, Jazz, Blues, Classical, and Broadway. But I feel that the responses were non responses....... so for clarity, let's try this one more time. Please accept these as REAL Honest Questions..... not flame fodder. If there are multiple Bands Playing, does each band Play one set? or For how long does each band play? HOW does the Band get Paid? As a result of a portion of the door? or by a promised min? or a combo? If the pay scale is embarrassing then how about discussing an what the pay is based? The reference to Taco Bell makes me think that you are embarrassed/concerned about the pay scales. How about a simple statement like " Our service include helping band get better gigs at better pay. Bands get paid batter than average Jax Band equal to or greater than $50 per man for showing up setting up plus $20/set" But please, don't copy paste my words. Please do tell us why we would think that this is NOT just another way to get bands to play for cheap.... and for a "Pro-Poser" to get paid.... for doing little that an average band could do on their own. What Services does the Production Company Provide? Frankly avoiding this question means that the production company doesn't provide a service. If the Production company provides a service and is proud of the service...please tell us..... toot your horn...or should it be assumed that there isn't really a substantial service? I had to quote the previous poster........... responding to the question does the Production company provide a service....? A group of locals decided not to sit and watch the suffering, but rather we would rally the community to come together on a special night to raise money for Haiti. And from that idea….”JAX. I'll try to elaborate for your clarity: First- I certainly did not set out to OFFEND anyone by writing that "All of who perform music for money have MUCH in common, and ought to be respectful of one another". Second- I also wrote that "I am nearly 60 years old and still very much enjoy performing, writing, and recording, and see no reason to stop". Alex has nothing to do with the " Benefit"..not a festival...although his posts are always respected as well as his views and subject matter..and is most likely not dignifying your posts with a response. Respectable even when not posting! 2. Our benefit is not a contest and will not be a contest of who is best on their respected instruments.or best band or whatever.It is a benefit for the woman who lost her life on the buckman and we want to raise awareness in jax that these musicians are against Drunk Driving... 3. I personally invited Hicksville to come to the benefit and view some of the top cover and original bands in jax...that work these clubs. I invited him to bring his instrument as well. I also gave him a free pass for the day. He has yet to respond. Mr Metal head FYI we love metal! was playing Iron Maiden in bands when I was 12..Trooper was one of the first songs I learned...Eddie was all over my walls as well as Sabbath..even had a sabbath tribute band.
