<![CDATA[Youth Soccer Instructors Needed for Children Ages 3-6 Soccer Shots is a program that introduces soccer to children ages 3-6 at preschools and day care centers all over the area. We are currently expanding and need a few great instructors to help us run some sessions at a few of our centers. This is a part time and seasonal position and can be somewhat flexible, depending on your schedule. The classes are during the week, typically in the morning before 11:00 or in the afternoon after 2:30. Each class is 30 to 40 minutes long. We provide training, equipment, and all curriculum materials. We pay $10 for each session you run. At some centers, there will be multiple classes, meaning you could run 2 or even 3 classes in a row. This would double or triple your pay. The ideal instructor meets the following criteria: Responsible – arrives on time to each session, can handle a group of 10 or more children, keeps accurate attendance, communicates well with Soccer Shots director, etc. Professional – neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with day care center staff and director, self assured Enthusiastic – Must enjoy young kids, be able to connect with kids ages 3-6, must make the Soccer Shots class the best 30 minutes of their week, etc. Soccer – no official soccer experience is required. The maximum capacity of children we can have right now is 24. The ages will range from 2 ½ - 5 and they will be fully potty trained. The children will be separated into groups everyday. Red. Blue. Green and Yellow. These groups will stay together throughout the day and will learn together that day. Children will not be in same group everyday. There are things that the children will do together as group time and then separate and move to separate centers. When 20 students are registered there will be 4 Positions available. Position #1 Lead Academic Teacher Position Normal hours would be 7am - 3pm This teacher will be responsible for following and teaching CHRISTIAN curriculum. Developing and submitting lesson plans. Communicating with parents about how there child is developing academically. Communicating with other teachers about what child will be learning that week so that teacher can have activities that go along with lessons. Choosing what books will be read that day and displaying them so parents can know what stories to ask child about. Read books at group time. Other duties would be helping with lunch and nap. Keeping things organized. Cleaning up and helping other teachers with their responsibilities. Position #2 Lead Activities Teacher Position Normal Hours would be 10am -6pm This teacher will be responsible for creating and getting together all activities throughout the day. All art activities will go along with the academic lessons for that day or week. Communicating with other teachers about what child will be learning that week. Keeping track with what center children have been in so that they do not repeat before spending time in every center. Organizing and separating work and projects that will be sent home. Communicating with parents at end of day about how there child has done and answering any questions they may have about the day. Position #3 Center Managing Assistant Teacher Normal hours would be 7:30 - 12:30 This teacher would help children while in centers to stay focused on task. Help Lead academic teacher get supplies ready for teaching. Setting out and heating up lunches. Overseeing lunch and making sure children clean up after themselves at lunch. Keeping things organized. Position #4 Cleaning, Organizing Assistant Teacher Normal hours would be 2:30pm -6:30pm This teacher would help the children get up from nap get there things back in the cubbies and help them clean up after nap time. In addition to helping the Activities teacher get things ready and cleaned up from projects. Helping students in groups decide what center they want to play in and making sure they are involved and on task. Help them clean up after themselves. Make sure classroom is cleaned and organized everyday. Bathrooms mopped , trash taken out, room vacuumed. This teacher stays 30 minutes after school is closed to make sure everything is ready for school the next day. Keeping things organized.
