Brief Job Summary

The primary duty of the Promotions Manager (PM) is to manage and maintain a team of Brand Ambassadors (BA). These BAs execute consumer interactions for scheduled Program Nights that are part of the Tobacco Bar Program in locally signed venues (bars, pubs, and clubs).
<br>

The PM is responsible for interviewing BA candidates and for making hiring decisions. Prior to BAs working a Program Night, the PM must train all BAs on the logistics of the program, function of promotional assets and technology. The PM is also responsible for scheduling their BAs to work pre-determined Program Nights.
<br>
<br>
Throughout the duration of the Program Night, the PM is responsible for managing the event, supervising BAs, and is always conscious of upholding the MSA standards. The PM is always present as the primary venue contact and the program’s logistical troubleshooter.
<br>
<br>
The PM will also be responsible for managing and evaluating the growth of their team of BAs. This will include the ability to evaluate, coach and develop performance plans for each BA as well as successfully running and cultivating their market and team’s growth potential.
<br>
<br>
The Position requires the PM to drive a reliable, personal vehicle and to provide GMR with proof of insurance in accordance with the state minimum in order to drive to and from Program Nights. TMs are also required to wear the approved Program uniform.
<br>

This position requires some local and out of state travel.

Effectively represents clients in insurance defense matters both at the administrative and judicial levels. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews files and develops litigation strategies with the claim customer and insured clients (hereafter collectively referred to as clients).
Effectively completes high quality pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs and memoranda.
Consults with clients, fact and expert witnesses and claim personnel as appropriate throughout the litigation process.
Understands the tri-partite relationship between the claim customer, insured client and attorney.
Works within limits and authority on all cases.
Provides clients with facts, observations, analysis and recommends and pursues litigation strategies which best protect the clients¿ interest in a timely manner.
Effectively evaluates and communicates to the clients the liability risk and indemnity exposure throughout the litigation process.
Communicates effectively and proactively with clients and courts.
Effectively negotiates with adversaries to resolve litigation.
Possesses appropriate trial appetite and skills to litigate cases in state and federal courts and before compensation, industrial, labor and arbitration commissions.
Maintains caseloads and productivity standards set by Managing Counsel.
Completes and submits billed time, reports, closed cases and other materials appropriate to performance of job duties in a timely manner.
Effectively utilizes internal and external resources to assure smooth workflow and cost effectiveness. Handles special projects as assigned.
Understands claim customers' expectations and business goals and assists them in meeting those goals.
Shares expertise with claim customers and other business partners on legal matters and provides advice and conducts training seminars as needed.
Maintains a high level of knowledge of the law and procedure relevant to the work being handled.
Takes personal responsibility for maintaining high ethical standards and for professional development.
