<![CDATA[hey folks, i had a home invasion, apparently long time monitored and was brutally attacked and robbed of $20k+ of gear and without gear, cannot work. Have been homeless now for a week. in process of repairing a laptop (also was an engineer) which using now to place this ad. Just did a biz card design & have $80 only. Is it enough for a week with some cool peeps ? I need safe place to rest, heal, sleep and work. fortunately have 400 minutes left on my phone and this laptop, but that's all I have. all my other stuff was destroyed in a fire which was not stolen. crazy life. that was phoenix. bad place. was there 2 years to help family. well... so much for that. this was home for a number of years. everything changes here so fast, all friends phones changed, studios changed, moved out of biz.. starting over. older but very cool dude. 24 with 30 yrs experience at being 24... been around the blocks a few times, know a lot of things... very trustworthy, clean, clean after myself... i am hoping to find some awesome peeps to hang, chill and maybe work with, shared space sorta thing but not an all night party place... really need to sleep a day or two and heal. i am not just a graphics artist but also an engineer.... killer web designer (front ends), used to design games but it's a pain and expensive these days for little payback. looking at google web toolkit as new venue for design .. i can teach you things as well. also a musician but all that gear is gone as well.. played guitar 35 years but have been out of that scene since 2003... just money. i have been doing euro-electronica since... worked with euro labels, some local studios, sound designer, also do editing (sound, video etc) anything visual.... please help... very cold out and difficult to heal being exposed to elements. most kind regards ... ]]>

Huisman, Professor of Arts at Columbia University, published journalist and indie film producer, will teach a 12-week course based in THE ARTIST'S WAY here in Hollywood this fall. Huisman teaches screenwriting, film theory, creative writing and dream theory and Columbia, and will be teaching in Los Angeles for the first time beginning this September. The course will meet weekly on Saturday afternoons for 12 weeks starting September 4th. Course fees are $150 per person, for the entire course. Peter was a voice trainer in NYC for over 15 years, and he applies his knowledge of voice to acting. In 2008, Peter became co-owner of the Neon Venus Art Theatre in Las Vegas. In 2009 he opened a second location on Melrose, Hollywood. In Las Vegas, he has directed and produced plays for kids and adults, and has provided technical and managerial support for other live performances, Improv Shows, community events, etc. Peter plays the piano and supports his students in getting ready for acting and singing auditions. He also plays guitar and bass and has engineered all records for his band Neon Venus and demos for his actor/singer students.
