<![CDATA[Hello everyone, up for sale are 2 of my bmx bikes. 1. Early 90's GT VFR in a green paint job. All original parts except for the seat(different GT seat). Has a few minor paint scratches on the frame by the rear wheel. Needs new chain, grips, tires and tubes. Front brake is a proponent side-pull and rear brake is the original cantilever style brake(not sure of brand) but still in working order. Some rust on the rear spokes. Original decals still intact. Take it for $70. 2. Late 90's(99?) GT DYNO NSX in a blue paint job. All original parts!!! Has some scratches on the lower frame tube above the DYNO decal. Front tire has a little bit of tread left but I recommend replacing it. Back tire has plenty of tread left. Chain works but I recommend a new one. This 2006 with under 2000 miles is being sold for the parts value which is well over $3000. Why so cheap? It was in an accident. After the accident I had the Co-Motion factory inspect it. Here's a direct quote from their report: "The top tube, lateral tube and down tube showed visible signs of impact, rippling which generally precedes breaking if ridden for very long. In addition, the alignment of the frame has been compromised to the point where riding straight down the road would be difficult. This is an aluminum tandem, the tubing used is very thin walled and although strong and light it does not handle impact well. It is not possible to cold set or straighten such a frame." I can see neither this "rippling" nor the misalignment, but I have to believe they are real, and that the frame should NOT be ridden. Size is large/small, which is 23 inches front and 18 inches back. Will fit most captains over 5' 7", and pretty much any stoker, but this is just FYI because you will not be riding this frame. The steel fork is bent, but the rest of the standard parts package is in primo condition. If you have (or will be getting) a tandem frame, this is a dirt cheap way to build up a really nice tandem. Or to upgrade one your already have. It's still too cheap - the parts alone are worth a LOT more than $1000. First with the money gets it. Yes, this IS still available.
