The TIS Engineer will serve as a contact for each assigned integration engagement with our partners. Specific activities will include interfacing with clients (business and technology) and answering questions on the integration process, best practices and performance expectations. The TIS Engineer will be expected to execute ad-hoc analysis using SQL queries to trouble shoot and answer questions regarding the performance of both new and existing implementations. Additionally, application support is key to ensuring stability and reliability of the LeadPoint trading platform and its supporting objects. As the TIS Engineer, you will work with the technology development team, quality assurance team, platform development team and customer support groups to identify data errors. The TIS Engineer will use various tools including Business Intelligence reporting application to perform analysis of errors to determine the severity and will work with quality assurance and platform management to recommend the resulting prioritization of correction for all data errors. The engineer will also assist in writing JavaScript validation used within various form creatives. Accountability and Decision Authority: Engineer is assigned tasks on a daily basis by reporting manager due to immediate nature of TIS and application support requests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Assist Sellers with data and form integration, including validation and data delivery issues * Assist Buyers with data integrations, including lead and feedback delivery * Timely response to internal tickets keeping response time to all open tickets to under 1 business day * Timely response to customer initiated tickets keeping response time to all open tickets to under 1 business day * Perform log analysis to identify buyer and seller data delivery issues and seller validation issues and depending on frequency of issue occurrence, recommend solutions to both Customers and the LeadPoint development team * Develop processes and tools to simplify integrations in coordination with Platform manager and quality assurance * Guide continued improvement in all aspect of customer integration including but not limited to integration types, documentation and workflows * Track integration tasks, deliverables, and deadlines * Document steps taken in frequently asked requests * Review data to assist Technology team during Priority 1 Technical Platform Escalations Professional Qualification Requirements: * Associates in Computer Science is required. BS Computer Science or related technical degree preferred. *1+ years experience in Integration Support, Sales Engineering, Software Development or related discipline, preferably in an external customer-facing capacity. * Working knowledge of XML, TCP/IP networking, and UNIX command-line operation is required * Possess superb quantitative and analytic skills with the ability to apply these talents rapidly and efficiently. * Deep working knowledge of database design and SQL techniques for manipulation of stored data structures as physical and logical constructs; knowledge of Oracle, MySQL or Teradata DBMS is a plus. * Strong knowledge of web B2B data transport protocols such as HTTP POST/GET, XML, and batch email/FTP * Experience in Web application and tool development in Java; Prior knowledge of developing in Javascript for client-side validation * Experience with an internet marketing or business development team and/or lead marketing company preferred. * Experience working with, integrating, and troubleshooting Internet products and technologies. * Ability to perform log analysis, including writing SQL queries. * Excellent written and oral communication skills. * Proven track record in working with cross-functional teams. * Excellent attention to detail. In March of 2000 I started an internet advertising firm out of my bedroom in Kirkland, Washington. I was looking to make some money on the internet and when the large .com I was working for went out of business with the internet crash, I was left without a job. The company owed me almost 130K in commissions and after a lot of threatening they gave me about 25,000 products that they owned. The owner just wanted to be done with me, and I agreed to let him out of what he owed me in exchange for these products. I took what they were doing, tweaked it a little, and started out on my own with $2100.00 dollars. By December of that year I made almost $234,909.00 in total income with little overhead selling a much needed product to online businesses. By October of 2005, I was making almost $700K a year take home. I will gladly show you my income tax returns to prove it. I can sell each one of my products from $2500.00 to 150K each to online businesses that in turn reap huge benefits from this product, mainly getting in the top three spots on Google. The product is easy to sell, and one of a kind. I have no competition because I own all of the best products and there is NO way to get any more of this particular product. I am talking about domain names. I own about 22000 domain names that were purchased way back in 1992-1993. They are worth millions of dollars. Last estimate was 23 million. In just two days it's gone from page 2328, to page #1. Soon it will be #1. I think you get the idea. If you just started in business today, your IT guy would tell you that a domain name is EVERYTHING. They would then begin to look for good ones, but they would find out that all of them were gone in the early 90’s. All gone. They then have to pay Google to get placement. I can tell you from experience that Google charges A LOT OF MONEY for first page. They would spend 1000’s in a month in high competitive industries. So basically I was one of these guys that got all of the good names way back when and I have been selling them off one at a time. There is this kid at church that lost his job about three years ago. I took pity on him and invited him over, trained him, and cut him loose with 25 domain names. Last year he made $248,909.33 in commissions working from a laptop. I was completely happy with the income I am making until this New Year when my wife started getting concerned and basically said that she wanted me to spend more time with the kids and her. It cut me to the core, and I felt bad about leaving all of the time with my laptop to a coffee shop every day. You see, it’s not just working, but I am really involved with my church so much that I am never home. I was talking with Brendan (the kid that helps me sell) and we figured out that are our current pace, it would take us about 22 years to sell all of our names. I pride myself in NOT having to wear a suit and tie, and NOT having an office space, employees, stress, problems, etc. but after realizing this truth I have decided to speed up the process and get some help.
