<![CDATA[I found this monster in and around west hills off of topanga blvd. So I was coincidentally heading towards one of my once favorite Mex restaurants LOS TORO when I saw him crossing the street. We didn't want him to get hurt so we pulled over and called for him. He came and wagged that rope of a tail and jumped right into the element. He is a great looking one too. If I owned a home (thanks to bush), I would keep him. I'm giving the idiot owner, that won't return my calls a few more days and i'll give him to the appropriate owner. I am doing pretty well for a 28 year old without a degree, so I do not need the money. On the other hand, you better be willing to pay, as it would show that you will be taking care of it. People value what they pay for. Pets obtained for free are are less likely to be spayed or neutered by their new owners (why bother with vet bills?), and more likely to be abused and/or discarded, because "there are plenty more where that came from!" ]]>

<![CDATA[Sweet, round, super short legs. Abyssinian Tabby mix, 13 years old. Was a feral baby and retains some of those behaviors. A slinker, a little skittish but if you are patient she will come if it's quiet and calm. She is round round round, like a little canonball and her belly is redish brown. Very little white on her. I never actually removed it from my purse, and it's starting to look like someone may have removed it for me rather that it having fallen out of my purse :( It's got a quilted texture on the outside and a zip enclosure (very similar to the photo posted below). <![CDATA[Our 3-year old, Neutered, Male, Terrier Mix, Scrappy has been missing since June 15th when he ran away from his Pet Sitter in Highland Park. The Sitter was able to follow him to N. Ave. 53 and Lincoln before loosing him completely. We hired Bloodhounds who were able to trace Scrappy's Scent to Ave. 52 and Monte Vista. My husband and I are so worried about out lost little guy. His shots were due on August 6th and he has a gland issue that needs attention. If you've seen him, have him, or know someone who may have taken him in, please contact my husband, Ryan at: 818-259-1473. <![CDATA[PLEASE KEEP WATCHING FOR MITZI, BELOVED COMPANION DOG TO SERIOUSLY ILL YOUNG WOMAN!!! Mitzi, a 16 pound, spayed female, pure white, toy poodle went missing after a home burglary in May, 2008. Her home is in Winnetka, CA near the streets of Winnetka and Vanowen. Mitzi is 4 years old, has chin length ears, a black nose, and a long, uncropped tail. Mitzi has no micro chip and was not wearing her collar when she was lost or stolen. She had just had a bath and was freshly groomed. Mitzi may be shaggy and ill kept by now and could be anywhere----dependent upon where burglars may have taken her. Someone may also have innocently taken her into their possession to offer her protection and/or a home. We have checked shelters, rescues, posted posters, and placed ads to no avail. The sad story of Mitzi and her owner Gwendy has also been on several local new stations in early July. No leads on finding Mitzi came from the publicity. Gwendy Mendez, Mitzi's owner, is currently in intensive care. Early in July Gwendy went in for her 20th surgery on her spine, but suffered from severe complications which caused her to be placed in intensive care. She has developed meningitis and has been on a breathing machine. To add to the health problems, Gwendy is also a severe asthmatic. Although Gwendy is fighting for her life, she is still worried and grief stricken about the loss of her dear Mitzi. A very generous reward is offered for Mitzi's safe return---no questions asked. If you took her or have Mitzi in your possession, please turn her in to the family. You will recieve a lot of money and will help ease a sick girl's troubled heart!!! To those of you who have been following this story, we have had no further sightings on the homeless man who was seen walking a little white dog resembling Mitzi through the cities neighboring Winnetka, CA. He was last spotted at the Vons Shopping Center located at Topanga and Roscoe in Canoga Park. We would love to talk to him and take a look at the doggie to rule out the chance that it might be Mitzi. <![CDATA[ MY MICKEY-CAT LOST SINCE APR 04TH from corner of Yukon Avenue and West 119th Court in Inglewood (zipcode 90303), area close to West Imperial Highway, Crenshaw Blvd, Lemoli Avenue and Dehn Avenue. I really hope Mickey is still out there surviving, I am extremely worried about him. He is male, all black, neutered, 13 years old INDOOR-ONLY cat. He was really big when lost but unless somebody feeding him all the time probably lost lot a weight! He had shiny fluffy coat and he is missing some hair next to his ears and belly. Mickey has kind of yellowish eyes and HE LIMPS LITTLE BIT FROM BACK LEG WHEN HE WALKS, WHEN HE RUNS YOU WON'T PROBABLY NOTICE THAT! He has no collar or microchip unfortunately. Since INDOOR-ONLY CAT Mickey can be very fearful and hiding, on the other hand if you have food he might come to you. HE HASN'T BEEN OUTSIDE REALLY BEFORE so I am not sure how he would act. Please residents in the area check any hiding places outside your houses and yard, I really need your help because it has been many months now and he is still lost! Also if you notice "new black cat" which fits Mickey's desciption, in the neighborhood. I can't be looking for him nighttime because I live couple miles away and because of transportation problems. I have put numerous and numerous flyers in the area, but none of sightings have been 100% sure. Somebody could have taken Mickey in to their house or feeding him in their yard. <![CDATA[I posted last week that my friend needed to find his wallet. It decided to jump out of his pocket at the Starbucks on melrose. Thank you so much to whoever turned it in. They called us on Saturday - someone had turned it in that day. I asked the Universe for some good karma and I can tell you this - it was delivered. And his attitue was immediately revived. He looked up and said he had a thought that it might have been turned in all along. Have faith my friends! PS: the people in that starbucks suck at life - please don't misinterpret this post as supporting them. They had the wallet the entire time, and every time we called and visited, they told us to give up, and it was lost, and acted like we were the worst nuisances ever. I am entitled to my disgust because we go to a starbucks almost every single day, we almost always tip, and we are polite each and every time. I was offended by their behavior and I won't go back to this bucks. There are too many other places with nice people!! ]]>

<![CDATA[Our 3-year old, Neutered, Male, Terrier Mix named, Scrappy has been missing since June 15th. My Husband and I are still so bummed out. We love that little guy so much and we miss him. He was like a ray of light that brightened our otherwise dull lives. Long Story short, we were on our Honeymoon at Walt Disney World in Florida. We left Scrappy in the care of a Sitter. With our permission, she took Scrappy to her house in Highland Park. Late at night on June 15th, She took Scrappy out for a pee break. He managed to get out of his collar and run off into the night. She was able to follow him to N. Ave. 53 and lincoln before loosing him. Once we heard what had happened, we cut our trip short and flew home. We have wandered the streets night and day, posted flyers, neon posters, talked with Residents of highland Park as well as the merchants on York Blvd., we hired a bloodhound lady and her hounds were able to trace Scrappy's scent to N. Ave. 52 and Monte Vista, we have placed ads in La opinion and the LA Times, we have faxed Scrappy's flyer to all the LA Area Shelters, and we continue to post on Craigslist on an almost daily basis. <![CDATA[my Dog; Scrappy has been missing for two months now. Ryan and I were recently married at the Disneyland Hotel on June 7th. Following our wedding, Ryan and I left Scrappy in the care of a Pet Sitter and flew to Orlando to Honeymoon at the Walt Disney World Resort. We were having a great time on our Honeymoon and enjoying our first memories as a newly married couple. After a fun-filled day at Disney’s Wild Animal Kingdom, Ryan noticed he had a voicemail. After checking it the smile on his face turned into a face of panic. All he could say was, “Scrappy’s missing!” At that moment, we cut our Honeymoon short and caught the first flight we could get out of Orlando back to Los Angeles. As soon as we arrived back in LA, we promptly posted an ad on Craigslist and went to the Pet Sitter’s apt in Highland Park. The Sitter explained to us that late at night on June 15th she was taking him out and he managed to get loose from his collar and run off into the night. She tried to follow after him but he was too fast. We spent the remainder of our Honeymoon walking the streets of Highland Park, shaking his treats, calling for him, squeaking his toys. We have hung up flyers and posters; we spoke with the local residents and merchants in the area. We have placed ads in the LA Times and La Opinion, we hired a Pet Detective named, Sherlock Bones who created a flyer for us. We also hired a woman who uses Bloodhounds to trace scents. They were able to pick up a small scent trail nearby where he went missing. We still continue to post ads and follow up on the leads that come in. Typically, the leads are either a dead end, not Scrappy, or someone having fun at our expense. My Husband and I are so heartbroken over this and feel that we are doing all we can do to find him. To add to our worry, we received a reminder card from Scrappy’s vet a few weeks ago that his shots were due on August 6th. We never thought this sort of thing would happen to us. We were always so careful with Scrappy. We’d see missing pet flyers on the street or while hiking and I’d always think to myself, I hope this sort of this will never happen to us. It just shows that you never know. Life can throw you a curveball and suddenly everything changes. We went from a happy young couple on the verge of starting a new adventure together. Now, we just want our little guy home safe so, we can get back to celebrating being newlyweds. I have enclosed a copy of the flyer that Sherlock Bones created for us.
