I bought it at Guitar Center on 3-12-10 and have the reciept to prove it. I can not return it to guitar center because I took off the UPC for a rebate to get free headphones and sent it in before trying to connect the interface, so now im stuck with a brand new interface that I cant not use. <![CDATA[This is an awesome little amp head from Marshall. It was made in 1986 as a special edition/limited run amp. It has two channels (clean/overdrive) and reverb. This thing cranks and sounds killer (and is in perfect shape). It was recently re-tubed and biased. Dialed in it sounds similiar to a JCM 800. I hate to let it go but I need the money to pay off some other gear I just purchased. Dont let this classic pass you by. Upgrades are Grover tuners and after-market Leo Kwan bridge. *Note: original bridges (readily available on ebay for about 50 bucks) were intonated for a wound 3rd string, so this bridge is not only an upgrade, it's necessary if you like playing in tune! My guitar tech says the Kwan is the best one.). Killer P-90 pickup rated at 8.3 k (if memory serves), and can really overdrive a tube amp for truly amazing tone. It does not look as good as the pictures, because we never polished it. A mouthpiece is stuck in the tuba. I could not get the mouthpiece out. You will need to get the mouthpiece insert fixed (I detached it trying to get the mouthpiece out). This is why I am selling it for so much less than I bought it - because it will cost to fix the mouthpiece insert. Comes with hard case, 3 mouthpieces, valve oil, and slide grease. Also comes with extra (actually the original) mouthpiece insert. <![CDATA[I have a King 601 Bb Student Trumpet with a black hard case. I used this trumpet for drum corps and marching band but it isn't my main instrument so I really have no need for it anymore. I rarely play it and it has been sitting in my closet since last marching season. It does have a few scratches on the outside of the bell and some finger rub on the tuning slides but that's it. No major dents or broken valves. Plays beautifully and has a very nice bright sound. I am not selling it with a mouth piece though mostly due to sanitary reasons and I also use the same mp for my melophone. I bought it for $850 brand new and am the only owner of it, so 300 is a steal. I'll also throw in a Tuxedo brand gig bag(soft shell) as well. It is in good condition, clean inside and out. The only flaw is that the storage compartment is coming apart. However, this does not affect the intended purpose of the case, which is to protect the instrument. Overall it’s about 7 out of 10. The handle is in good shape and the inside has no strong odor and little wear. The latches and hinges have slight surface tarnish that’s hardly noticeable, and they all function perfectly.
