<![CDATA[I am a current volunteer for the Los Angeles County Animal Care and Control. I am a seventeen year old girl who enjoys working with animals and hoping to turn it into a possible career. I volunteer at the AV adoption center located on 4th street east between Ave L and ave M. There we have dogs that come from the County shelter on ave I near 60th. The adoption center had a policy of "the dogs stay with us until they are adopted, turn sick, or turn aggressive". Do to unforeseen events (lower kennel numbers and extreme overflow of the shelter), we can no longer use this policy. Some of our long time adoptees are now in danger of being euthanized. They have until approx 8/05/2010 to get out of the shelter. These are GREAT dogs as I have worked with them personally myself. I would hate to see them be put to sleep because they have not yet found their forever family. If you know ANYONE who may be looking for a dog, may need a companion, or would like to adopt and rehome and animal, please contact me. Also, if you know any rescues that might be interested. As far as with humans she is very gentle and not food aggressive in the least bit, or treat possessive. She will need someone who would be willing to feed alone if they have other pets, or someone that has only her. Other than these issues she proves to be a sweet loving girl. Suka - Animal ID : female 3 years old Doberman Pinscher Mix Suka is a very sweet graceful girl with lovely soft fur ^_^ . she is very loving, likes to be pet and cuddled. She walks great on leash and has a tendency to give numerous kisses. Suka can jump high so I would say she could clear a 4ft fence. Probably better with a block wall or bar, instead of chain link. We had several dogs to which we were able to find good homes for but are left with these last two. We have asked all our family and friends but no one has the room or finances to care for them. I think I'm a baby panther, but my foster mom says I shouldn't expect to get the size of one. So I consider myself a handsome, obsidian Mini Panther. I love looking at birds through the window and chattering at them. My foster mum tells me SIT and then I sit down, and she gives me a treat. Isn't that a neat trick I taught her?
