Trader Joe's, Smart & Final). There is new hardwood floor throughout, AC/heating and a washer/dryer on site. All utilities will be paid for, including the broadband. Full access to a kitchen equipped with new stainless steel appliances (oven/fridge/microwave) and plates, cutlery and glasses will all be for you to use. The bedroom has an en suite bathroom (as pictured - apologies for the view) and is pretty spacious. There is also a 50 inch TV in the living room. We would prefer a female (since my other roommate is female) between 20-30, although we are willing to consider anyone. Please bear in mind that if you are only able to meet in the few days running up to April 1 then this will obviously limit your chances of being picked for the room, but please don't hesitate to get in contact - with as much information about yourself as possible - if you think you'll be right for this. It comes with two secure, covered, underground parking spaces with direct elevator access to the apartment. Entrance Lobby A light, bright welcoming space with a large closet. The attractive oak veneer floor starts here and extends over nearly 1,000 sq ft (100m2) through to the large lounge/dining room. A wine rack is provided in the cool shaded area by the main entrance door. Lounge/Dining Room The open plan lounge/dining room covers nearly 800sq ft (80m2) and its floor to ceiling french windows face south-east across the main channel of Marina del Rey. A gas flame-effect fire-place is in the lounge area with a mirrored back-wall adding even more light to this deliciously bright space. Large windows face south in the dining room and afford beautiful views while eating in the evening. During the summer, Saturday night concerts across the channel in Burton Chace Park provide a musical serenade at dinner. The glass dining table extends and is complemented by 8 chairs allowing substantial family meals or dinner parties to take place. The dining room is fully equipped with high quality crockery, cutlery and glassware and a further wine rack in the sideboard. In the open-plan lounge a dark leather sofa and club chair is complemented by a hand-made wool Persian carpet and solid-frame wood side-tables. A stunning red heart-shaped sofa collapses to surprise guests as a remarkably comfortable and spacious double size guest bed. The 42" LCD TV comes with Time-Warner digital cable TV, a multi-region DVD and CD player and a surround sound system that turns the lounge into a home theater. Terrace High value boats and yachts are moored directly in front of the 25ft (7.5m) wide x 4ft (1.2m) deep tiled terrace. But a second floor position means that little noise carries from the lightly used boats below. The terrace is tiled in high quality glazed tiling and comes with cast metal bar height table and two stools ideal for lazy weekend lunches. There are also two more chairs, an occasional table, and a love seat. A gas barbecue is provided and the terrace is made prettier still with mature plants and subtle floor level lighting. It is truly a delightful place to retire to after dinner. Kitchen Finished in white, the bright, airy kitchen has a breakfast bar as well as all of the conveniences that you'd expect: dual sink with rinser, water filter, waste disposal, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, dual sink, hob, oven, built-in microwave along with lots of small applicances, plenty of storage and a full complement of pots, pans and baking dishes. Den The den makes an ideal home office and is currently furnished with a desk, chair, bookcases, leather sofa and a further small dining table. On the cream carpeted floor is a gorgeous red/brown Persian carpet that complements the other colors in the room. Installed on the wall is the broadband and wifi equipment. A full wet bar and glass shelves make this a room for entertaining too! Bedrooms Each bedroom is generous. The Master Bedroom is particularly large with a generous closet and en-suite double-sink bathroom with shower. The Master has a dressing table area with star dressing-room lights. A California King size bed is provided with luxury top mattress and Egyptian cotton sheets. A beautiful solid wood dresser and nights stands are provided. The Master is an especially quiet, calm and relaxing room. The second bedroom benefits from wall to ceiling glass that opens to the terrace and has the same stunning views over the channel. It has a large closet, bookcase, drawers and queen sized bed. The bathroom with double-sink and bath is close by and can be accessed privately without entering the rest of the apartment. This is a beautiful apartment. Every window has blinds and the walls and woodwork are in excellent decorative order. Dolphin Marina is one of the original developments in Marina del Rey, CA. It was built when space was not at a premium and everything about its proportions are generous. Apartment 201 comes with two side-by-side parking spaces in the secure underground garage which are close to the elevator that leads directly to the second floor making the supermarket run an easy matter. Laundry is common rather than in the apartment but there are multiple laundry points with new washers and driers close to Apartment 201. Laundry operates on a pre-paid card system. Cards are available on the property. Access to the garage is by security fob and throughout the development security is paramount with electronic access at all points, wide coverage monitored CCTV and security guard patrols. You get to stay in my house for 2 weeks and while you're there care for my 2 little dogs. Might be good for a student who wnats to get away from roomates for awhile or?? This would involve taking them for a walk in the evening, feeding, cleaning up poop in the yard (and unfortunately in the house because one of them is old and incontinent so you would need to be comfortable cleaning up). I would prefer someone who loves animals and would spend at least a some time with them. They are very loving and affectionate. If things work out perhaps we could have some other visitations for trade or $$. I would like someone who is sweet, very trustworthy but also will protect them while on walks, just in case.]]>
