The driveway can fit three cars and there is a ton of parking on the street. The house is situated in a nice quiet neighborhood, less then a mile from the beach. As well as being close to the beach we are near Abbot Kinney St., a short walk to the grocery (Whole Foods, Ralphs, and Smart and Final to name a few of your shopping options), close to the shops and restaurants of Santa Monica, and a short distance to UCLA and USC (8 and 10 miles respectively). We are two working professionals (Kevin is in advertising and Im a scientific researcher) who are in our early 30s, and are active and like to surf, check out music, and check out the local amusements. During the week we stay relatively mellow, and on the weekends we occasionally have get togethers/bbqs or go out. We keep the house pretty clean and are looking for someone who is laid back, easy going, and doesnt leave cereal bowls in the sink. You will have a private room with a shared bathroom. The rent will be $1200 + 1/3 utilities and will be available to move in at the end of March. We are open to a short term as well as long term roommate. I also have some spare furniture and a bed. Large windows face south in the dining room and afford beautiful views while eating in the evening. During the summer, Saturday night concerts across the channel in Burton Chace Park provide a musical serenade at dinner. The glass dining table extends and is complemented by 8 chairs allowing substantial family meals or dinner parties to take place. The dining room is fully equipped with high quality crockery, cutlery and glassware and a further wine rack in the sideboard.

In the open-plan lounge a dark leather sofa and club chair is complemented by a hand-made wool Persian carpet and solid-frame wood side-tables. A stunning red heart-shaped sofa collapses to surprise guests as a remarkably comfortable and spacious double size guest bed.

Terrace

High value boats and yachts are moored directly in front of the 25ft (7.5m) wide x 4ft (1.2m) deep tiled terrace. But a second floor position means that little noise carries from the lightly used boats below. The terrace is tiled in high quality glazed tiling and comes with cast metal bar height table and two stools ideal for lazy weekend lunches. There are also two more chairs, an occasional table, and a love seat. A gas barbecue is provided and the terrace is made prettier still with mature plants and subtle floor level lighting. It is truly a delightful place to retire to after dinner.

The den makes an ideal home office and is currently furnished with a desk, chair, bookcases, leather sofa and a further small dining table. On the cream carpeted floor is a gorgeous red/brown Persian carpet that complements the other colors in the room. Installed on the wall is the broadband and wifi equipment. A full wet bar and glass shelves make this a room for entertaining too!

Bedrooms

Each bedroom is generous. The Master Bedroom is particularly large with a generous closet and en-suite double-sink bathroom with shower. The Master has a dressing table area with star dressing-room lights. A California King size bed is provided with luxury top mattress and Egyptian cotton sheets. A beautiful solid wood dresser and nights stands are provided. The Master is an especially quiet, calm and relaxing room.

The second bedroom benefits from wall to ceiling glass that opens to the terrace and has the same stunning views over the channel. It has a large closet, bookcase, drawers and queen sized bed.

The bathroom with double-sink and bath is close by and can be accessed privately without entering the rest of the apartment.

This is a beautiful apartment. Every window has blinds and the walls and woodwork are in excellent decorative order.

Dolphin Marina is one of the original developments in Marina del Rey, CA. It was built when space was not at a premium and everything about its proportions are generous.

Apartment 201 comes with two side-by-side parking spaces in the secure underground garage which are close to the elevator that leads directly to the second floor making the supermarket run an easy matter.

Laundry is common rather than in the apartment but there are multiple laundry points with new washers and driers close to Apartment 201. Laundry operates on a pre-paid card system. Cards are available on the property.
