Use basic and advanced statistical processes to describe business impacts as defined through discussion with the Client. ? Balance the business need with appropriate level of analytical rigor. ? Assist in creating sales/marketing recommendations to Client teams. ? Responsible for ensuring that quality and timeliness of deliverables meet Client expectations. ? Ability to create and make PowerPoint presentations of findings and recommendations. ? Other duties as assigned. Examples of position duties, responsibilities, and authorities are described below: 1. Analysis: Position has authority to identify patterns and meaningful relationships in the data, develop predictive models, and present findings effectively to Client and DAC management. 2. Design: Position has authority to design, code, test, debug and document programs for the purpose of statistical, sales, and marketing reports. 4. Communication: Participate with team members and IT staff to ensure that database functions are working correctly. 5. Reporting: This position has the authority to generate statistical, sales and marketing reports to track and analyze the effectiveness of direct marketing programs and to assess customer performance. 6. Lead Management: Assist Client to develop the criteria and tools to determine the best prospects and buyers for outbound sales efforts. 7. Segmentation: Participate in market segmentation projects. Skills/ Requirements ? Minimum of 4 years experience using analytic processes such as descriptive and inferential statistics, regression analysis, factor analysis, time series analysis, forecasting, cluster analysis, and decision trees to explain impacts to business in a dynamic and fast paced environment. ? Experience with basic financial analysis methods such as break-even analysis and return-on-investment. Familiarity with principles and practices of cost and project accounting is preferred. ? Able to take direction as well as challenge current processes. ? Ability to manage complex tasks within tight deadlines. ? Experience in a business-to-business direct marketing environment. Education: Degree in economics, statistics, or operations research preferred. Skills: Proficiency in SPSS/SAS, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint.
